Dakar leaf pack with AAL

So I'm on the fence about this... I'm over Rims and tires since mine are OK (the setup I like is like 2800...). who has the dakar leaf pack and is it worth the upgrade? Out the door with leaf pack, AAL, ubolts, and rear shocks I'm at 860 w/o shipping

 

I have the OME Dakar Leaf Pack. I also have +3 Shackles, Coachbuilder rear shim, and extended rear Fox shocks.
I think it is perfect.
Recently I put about 1000lbs of concrete in my bed and it barely squatted.
I went with the leaf pack to avoid blocks. I do have a 7inch lift.

 

How do those Dakar leafs ride? Do you tow anything as well if so how does it feel?

 

What are you trying to accomplish? Are you carrying weight regularly?

 

Not the same... I had the Dakar leafs on my Tacoma. I loved them. With Bilsteins the truck rode fantastic.

 

I'm currently already running the 4inch Pro Comp lift with Fox C/Os up front and fox in the rear. Just really want to get rid of the block and AAL that pro comp kit came with. I'm leaning towards the dakars mainly due to the fact I tow my trailer and I already had deaver K37s on my old 2008 which are way to soft for towing unless Scott over at deaver custom makes something. For price the dakars look like the best option with towing in mind.

 

I have drakar and +3 coach shackles. Rides fantastic. Pro comp rear shocks. I tow some. Mostly rides empty. Great ride. My advice is to call David coachbuilder. Great guy. Answered my calls and texts on weekends when I reached out. @Coachbuilder1
I wanted to get rid of rear block. I spoke with him 4 or 5 times about it with stupid questions because I over think things. I'm sure he answered the same questions 5 times. Reach out to him.

 

I know couchbuilder from other tundra forums. I cant find his Dakar leaf review anywhere.

 

He runs them on his truck. Call him.

 

I have Dakars with coachbuilder +1 shackles and Bilstein 5160's. Very happy with it all.
