Hi first time poster and Tundra owner! Will the dealership install a leveling kit? Does it void the warranty?

Depends on your dealer and state. Some are against aftermarket completely, some will tolerate them if they do the install and others don’t care what you do. I’d read your warranty to know. Here where I’m at. In order for something to void warranty they would have to prove that component caused the issue or that what I did was in direct violation.

At the same time, most of us have already done leveling kits and I’m pretty sure we haven’t had any issues yet

WRONG! A dealership cannot deny warranty work due to aftermarket parts unless that part specifically caused the failure. 99% of dealerships install the cheapest leveling kits available and charge a premium for them- the only thing that makes it worth while to have the dealership install it is if you do have a shocks, uca, etc issue they will cover it, since they did the work.

    I said that!
What I’m saying by some dealers don’t or will tolerate aftermarket is because it’s true. They’ll tell you whatever to discourage or stop you from changing the vehicle, because they don’t understand or know how warranty works. Other dealers don’t care, as in even if the component caused the issue they’ll still write it up and fix it. Calm down Hondo
