    Hey guys!

I tried searching around for this issue but there’s so many possibilities and remedies that I figured I’d post a thread with videos to show the issue. I’m getting a squeaky noise when turning the wheels and on bumps in the road. My first inclination with control arms n such, so I triflowed the bushings and greased my UCA (SPC with a zerk on the ball joint) but it’s still there.

it’s hard to pinpoint the noise even when having a friend help turn the wheel while I listen underneath. My power steering fluid is definitely a little dark and will be changed soon but not sure that’s it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

just for reference, I have a 3” toytec lift with 2.5 coil overs and SPC UCA’s.

Cant see that vid, shows private. If you have a skid plate, check that, they can make noise like that, especially if the TRD version.

people running skid plates, either an after market like RCI, or a TRD Plate run rubber washers between the plate and frame.

I have an RCI skid plate that squeaked and creaked when I installed it, not bad, but noticeable, so I removed it, installed some fat rubber washers from Lowe’s on each bolt (again between the skid plate and frame), and no more squeaking, I think that’s what the previous poster is referring to.

thanks, I found some info on that and not sure if it's my problem as I just have the TRD OR thin skid, not pro. Going to take a look at it today regardless.

I was thinking little squeaks but man that is nasty. Sounds like the steering rack to me.

That’s what I’m beginning to think, I can’t pinpoint the noise within all the suspension components when listening right next to it. Lame that the truck only has 58k miles on it!
