She's was born yesterday morning. It didn't go well for mom or baby. Long story short, baby didnt get enough O2. She and I were flown to the big city (1hr flight) and she's in the NICU here undergoing active cooling to prevent any damage. MRI is on monday, but she's showing good signs and is very active. Mom was torn up in the birth and lost a ton of blood. She's being kept in our home hospital until sunday when she'll be strong enough to make the 4.5 hr drive to the city. She's doing alot better today.

Not how we wanted our first child to arrive but I never get to have anything the easy way in my life.

 

Kid’s gonna come in fighting and only get stronger as she grows.

 

I'll have the three of you in my thoughts. I can tell you that nothing good in my life has ever been easy. I'm glad they are both doing better. If @Azblue hadn't pushed back the invasion to go camping, I'd be pacing the halls with you.

Stay strong, my friend. For them and for you.

 

And now I feel like dick. I'm sorry it was rough for you guys, but glad to hear things are improving. Hope all three of you get some much needed rest.

 

Sorry to hear that. Sounds pretty similar to our daughter's birth except we were already at the Royal Alex because my wife is high risk.

Date night was good tonight. Had a nice old fashioned to keep it simple. Server messed something up and gave us both another round. Sure buddy! Good night with no kids and just the lady.

It’s nothing about being cool. The original Justice League didn’t have room for every super hero, but that didn’t keep the other heroes from contributing to the greater good.

The Mafia crew is just as strong and just as much family. Sure, we’ve got a few crazies tucked in the corners, but that’s what keeps things real and lively.

At least we don’t have the Wonder Twins and that damn space monkey…
