loving the look. Any thoughts, comments or concerns about the lower bumper pieces? The textured plastic? My wrap guy said he wouldn’t/couldn’t wrap this pieces.

 

The TSS package is an appearance package offer in the state of Texas. I don't know if the package is offer in any other States. The package consist of all blacked out overlays over the chrome emblems, predator step bars, all weather floor mats, and upgraded TRD wheels.

 

Toyota Southeast has a "XP" package that is very similar.

On a side note, we have yet to get a configurator or any allotments for Hybrid anything.

 

Sounds like my truck. I'll call it the VST package. Virginia Super Truck. Lol

I test drove a 2022 platinum. Was not impressed. I have a 2019 Platinum. Yeah it has all the bells and whistles and the horizontal IPad is cool but it is a v6

 

Been waiting almost 3 months for this beauty to arrive. Picked it up last Saturday. 2022 Tundra Limited Wind Chill Pearl.

 

I think it’s throughout the southeast. I got the “TSS Off Road” package on my truck here in Arkansas.

It’s smooth, a bit on the firmer side which is expected.

 

oh trust me, I hear ya… the wait for a TSS for me here in DFW was even crazy long.

I ended up buying from Sheehy Toyota in Maryland. Found the truck on TrueCar, called & ended up reserving it (long story).

Funny thing is, if Vandergriff Toyota in Arlington didnt mark up their Army Green TSS $16.5K when I first started looking, that’s exactly what I’d be driving right now with no second thoughts.

 

Well, finally happened. Ordered Dec 23. Definitely a seller's market, but got a reasonable amount on my trade-in and MSRP otherwise. It's a Canadian SR5 Sport and so far seems nice and comfy with a great ride. Love the colour and even the stock wheels suit me. Did get an extended warranty which always irritates me to spend the money, but maybe it will be a good choice. Only thing I wish is that I could have added Softex seats to it, but those options aren't available up here.

 

Awesome truck. Yours really puts my parents 2014 blueprint to shame when I compare the exterior lol. I love the red touches you guys get on the steering wheel and wish it was an option for us USA buyers.

It’s been kind of odd how different the options and configurations are based on location. I have the sport also and I hate how they spent the time blacking out all the lettering and accents on the truck but still leave the emblem in front chrome.

Thanks yeah, like the less-chrome stock and I'm not driving up river beds so wouldn't really use all the OR functions. The 4x4 will do me fine the times I'm up a logging road. Mostly pavement and towing for me so looking good. Put the payload question to the manager though with a "What's with 1,819 lbs on the Canadian website vs the sticker of 1,395?" I asked where my 500lbs of payload went.....

 

I’d argue that a “dumb” 4x4 with the addition of a rear locker and without all the nanny Offroad features is a better option anyway Less stuff to scream at you when you do something wrong, which happens a lot Offroad.

 

Nice truck. I’m really hoping the sport premium becomes available like they did with my 2020 sport. Time will tell

 

Looks incredible! My sport did not come with painted mirror caps (all black) and no mirror lights but does have Softex. Their packages are so strange sometimes.

 

Got my Platinum 4x4 Crewmax a couple of weeks ago. No complaints with this one.

not too much, but I’ve got the advanced package so it self levels after the trailer is hooked up.

originally I wasn’t going to. The dealer asked if I wanted it. I said I wasn’t sure. He said he would put it on and if I didn’t like it they would take it off. Turns out I really liked it.
