    Hey everyone, new to the forum. Just wanted to share my experience here and see if I'm the only one in this boat.

    I purchased a 2022 fully loaded Platinum at the beginning of March after waiting 3 weeks for the dealer to get one, and the person who they ordered for had, to my advantage, fell through on financing. I had it for about a month before I went to go to breakfast with the family after a heavy rain the night before to find water pouring out of the passenger front "oh sh**" handle. Immediately drove it up to the dealer. They spent all day looking at it for Toyota recommended they replace the panoramic sunroof frame. Obviously with part shortages these aren't just laying around.

    I guess I was just wondering here if I'm the first this has happened to? My dealer said they haven't seen this issue yet so that's awesome. They've had my truck for 16 days now with no answers on when they'll get the part.

    I think this is overkill by the dealer and that the drain is plugged.
    The rain rush pushed the debris toward the drains and they plugged or were partially plugged before.
    That's what happens on the 2.5 gens, I hope its not the same with the 3.0 gens.
    Please someone tell me the gutter system for the moon roofs is not the same design.

    @tsmomoney
    Open the roof take a wire and see if you can stick it in the drains to clear them. Only takes a minute.
    Good luck.

    First off...welcome to the forum.

    Second...there was another forum member who had a leaking sunroof that resulted in water dripping out the A-pillar grab handle. If you search the forum you'll find their post and a video they included. Very similar situation. Toyota had engineers look at his truck. I believe they recommended a full replacement of the sunroof because they found a QC issue with the sunroof "pan." If you've ever tiled a shower and are familiar with a shower pan...I believe there's a similar design to the interior drainage channels of the sunroof. It's a pan that has multiple pieces that are bonded at the corners to seal them and channel the water to certain areas to drain. They found that the bonding was not good at one of the corners and that resulted in a leak.

    I might have some of the finer details wrong, but I believe that was the consensus he reported on the forum following the investigation by Toyota engineers. Search for the post and I'm sure you'll find it. You might be able to reach out to him and see how long he had to wait for parts.

    This is actually similar to what they told me, the frame itself was thought to be damaged based on where the water was coming through. Ill search through and see if I can find the post you were talking about, thanks!

    Hello - new to the forum - leased a 2022 Tundra Platinum on March 31, 2022. The first weekend, while sitting at a stop light, the check engine light came on with a parking support brake malfunction. This happened with about 100 miles on the vehicle. Took it to the dealer who did whatever and the check engine light went off and hasn't been back on again (almost 700 miles now). Actually came on here looking up my next problem which is a leak in the roof. Different from what's been described before in this thread, mine seems to be coming in around the satellite radio antenna. This has now happened twice - both times in heavy rain while sitting in the driveway. Yet I've been through a high pressure car wash at least three times with no issues and also taking a hose and spraying all around the antenna (this was after tightening up a couple of bolts (seemingly) under the antenna after pulling out the rear seat dome light - those bolts were a little loose). But yesterday in heavy rain, the issue happened again - fortunately had a towel in place to absorb most of the water. Touching the headliner, there is only water around the rear seat dome light - close to the panoramic roof, the headliner is dry - same toward the rear close to the window. Made another appointment with the dealer but can't get in for another week. Any advice to fix it myself would be appreciated. Thanks!!

    Most likely a leaky seal around CHMSL, centre high-mount stop light (the rear lights at rear of roof). Pretty common on Tacomas.
