I checked the weather before my shower this AM. No rain until a brief chance around 0900.

I drove through rain the whole way to work and it's still raining.
I wish I could be this consistently wrong at work and keep my job.

We're going up to Noah's state this weekend to do a bachelor/bachelorette trip. We're doing the KY bourbon trail. I'm not a bourbon drinker but it should be fun. Lots of driving though. I think most of the distilleries are 30-60 minutes apart.

It looks like we're starting with Maker's Mark, Wallace Station and Buffalo Trace.

God my co-worker drives me crazy. Don't know how they'll survive while I'm on vacation.

One of their tasks is to send me an email attachment when they receive said attachment from whoever. They keep asking (usually by calling) if I've received all these random email attachments I've never heard of. IDK, you're the one that's supposed to be sending me them?

Boss man must have been here taking lessons. Left the door open and backed into a fence bending the bejesus out of it then this happened.

Snapped both pins off in the rear knuckle, tech told me they heat and beat them with no success. Nearly $700 for a new knuckle, $1200 after labor.

New fully dressed doors from big K are $2300/piece, I ordered shells and I'll send them out for Linex before assembly those are only $650.

No joke, they're very proud of their parts.

I will say this thing can take a beating. Had 2020/21 been normal years we'd have hit 1500 hours and probably 6500 miles. Which doesn't sound like much but campus is only about 1 square mile that it never leaves.

I'm just glad it didn't happen last week when I had it loaded with 1200lbs of sandbags.

Still frazzled. Still ain't all the way right. Still ain't really fixed on the car much. Pued the sheet metal out best I could. Tried to take a video for yall but Samsung updated my camera editor and removed the hyperspace option which I didn't know until after I had shot two hours worth of video that I couldn't compress.

Ended up just deleting it. Wavering. Up n down.

I figure it was about 40 mph thereabouts. Seeing it didn't really help. Just got a call. Going to dayshift Monday. Working nights Friday and Saturday. Off Sunday and then on days for the other, other, other rotation for "training"

I've noticed that they only pull the guys shifts around that DONT know the manager from previous jobs. That ARENT part of the "Golden boys." It's great for Tabitha and I. We will get more home time, but I feel as though that whole plant is plotting against me.

We’re you swerving to avoid the deer and hit the rail instead? I thought the damage to the rolla was deer only.

No, I went into the median at 75... tried to come up out of the median and back onto the road then smacked the fuckkkk out of the rail.

Swerved left to miss the deer.

I’ve always told the wife and kids, don’t swerve for animals when you driving fast. Just hit the brakes and hope they move. No sense rolling your car to miss a deer. Glad you made it out ok. Car crashes suck.

Like I said, I'm not after perfect. Just need clapped together enough to go 200 miles a day. That right there is the biggest reason why I feel like I need a change. Take a payout for less of a commute. Worried about falling asleep at the wheel now.

Yeah, that’s not good. I moved closer myself so I wouldn’t lose self control with all the a-holes out there when the big dig in Boston was going on years back.

Was just down at UPS dropping off a package and saw this beater there ready to be delivered, whatever is inside that isn't going to be in good shape. Gotta hand it to the cardboard, still hangin' on.

Back in jr high the kid across the street had a 65 mustang going to high school, fell asleep and headbutted a building. He survived, but it messed with him.

a few years later when i was in high school his younger brother (my age) fell asleep driving his moms corolla and ended up in the bayou upside down. Rolling a car has been on my bucket list ever since.

I've been in two pickups that ended up with the wheels in the air. Once riding shotgun, once in the bed. Neither were terribly exciting as speeds were low.
