Swapped out the AJT handle covers for MESO, i like the meso better, actually clips in (not double sided tape), color matches better and fits better too (AJT would rub on both ends)

Also, i got the truck with waterspots all over, had dirt stuck in the spots and made the truck look a bit dull. I Tried Chemical Guys HD Waterspot Remover, CarPro Spotless, and a few other products but it didnt do anything (Truck has ceramic coat on it so i didnt want to remove that). Was going to polish it all out but decided to try SudFactory Dissolve X2 and it took everything out with only a couple wipes.. seems like the ceramic coat is still on there because it still is very hydrophobic.

Looks great. How was the install? Do you have to remove the door panels or can you just take apart the handle?

Finally got my windows tinted yesterday. Went with 20% ceramic on the front 2 windows and a 5% ceramic sun shield on the windshield. He also did my wife’s Rav4. They did a great job, came right to my house to do it. Anyone in Eastern PA that needs tint, I definitely recommend The Tint Group.

You may have gotten them at TVD however when I checked they don't produce the badge inlays anymore. I am hoping there is someone else that does. Thanks for checking!

The meso and ajt handles are just covers, you pull the handle like you are opening the door, and just slide or snap on it sounds like over the existing silver ones.

No mods today. But I did hook up the camper to take it to the RV dealer to get it inspected. 1st camping trip comes in May. I can’t wait! I’m still pondering on the best way to get rid of the squat. There’s not much, but it’s there.

Thanks! I actually went the cheapo route and used plastidip. It’s been on there since June and is still looking great. Pretty easy and doesn’t take long. The trick is to use a toothpick to weed the plastidip out of the tighter areas without hurting the paint.

Check the build link in my signature.
Looks to me like "coupling" is the verb here. It is the 'act' of the locking jaws latching around the kingpin.

Or did I miss the question?

Whoa that's super cool. Maaan I need you to give me a little info on the dimmer for the meso map lights! They are wayyy too bright for me too. I emailed meso asking for advice and got no response. They need to get you on as a consultant!

This thread is pretty intimidating. I've yet to even try to follow what's happening on the first couple thousand pages.

Might as well dive in. Today I had one of the least productive days ever on my Tundra! Was supposed to be a simple little camera addition. It didn't work out that way. And in the process I broke my mirror glass AND dropped a bolt and washer down into the door. It's rattling around and I'm definitely going to lose my mind.

    Here's the whole story.

Mirror glass ouch, door part that shouldn’t be to bad, screw in the door handle area behind the plastic cover, and one under that felt pad in the hand hold of the door, then the rest should just be clips you pull on and it’ll all pop off, a flat trim tool makes it easier. You may even get away with just popping the bottom of the panel out and have the stuff fall out, then just push it to pop it back in place.

if you do fully remove it though just remember the 2 metal wires that connect to the handle assembly, they need to be unhooked first and try not to bend them, but you only get to them once the panel is unhooked from the car, so you kind of use your knee to hold it while you unhook.
