I’ve seen several different pieces of information from a few sources with claims ranging from Tundras with the i-Force MAX powertrain are a month away to wait lists are 6 months long to some trims won’t be available until 2023. It’s been confirmed by two people that work at the plant that at least TRD Pros have started production.

I’m hoping to see a platinum hybrid allocation soon but I was hoping someone here with dealer contacts could shed some light on availability and timelines.

If you’re on a list for a hybrid too let us know if you receive any build dates, what your getting, and what area you’re in! Thanks!

I’ve been told I’m number 4 on the hybrid waiting list at my dealer, I’m waiting for a blueprint platinum with the advanced package. I’m picky so I might be waiting a while, haven’t heard anything about confirmed allocations.

I ordered a white Limited TRD Hybrid Crewmax shortbox on Saturday in Calgary. No allocations as of yet, and told to expect a 6 month wait. They seemed optimistic so long as you weren't getting a higher trim or a TRD Pro.

I was offered a couple Capstone allocations so far. I’m still holding out for the Limited Hybrid TRD Off-Road I really want, and no one has heard about allocations for those yet. Hopefully in the next month or so!

Good to hear you had an offer and they are getting built. I almost pulled the trigger on the capstone, just couldn’t do the two tone leather.

Where did you get offered a Capstone allocation? I haven’t heard of any hybrids coming into any dealers here in CA

My local dealer told me that I'd be 1st on the waiting listed for a TRD Pro. I wanted a Platinum HV, but being the 1st in line for the pro is very tempting. I'd be 4th on the list for a Platinum. Long term to you guys think the resell value is better for the Pro?

The TRD pro is without a doubt going to be better resale. Could likely flip it to a platinum later and make money on the deal

I am 6th on an allocation for a Pro and was told that puts me at least 9 months out for this particular dealership. It all depends though on what you are willing to take from a color standpoint. If the first few people in line want to wait for a specific color then you may move up in line.

I’m #7 in line, however everyone above me wants a Pro. So, that makes me first in line for a Platinum. Was told likely July date for hybrids to start showing up here in Pennsylvania.

I was told this week by my local dealer that they expect new information to come out Thursday or Friday. I'm in the Gulf States distribution area and from what I've heard that means we'll be the last to get allocations. If we start getting hybrid allocations here everyone else should be getting them too I'd think.

Some dealerships give you the run around just to make it seem like they’re giving you the attention.. it’s sad but true unfortunately

I've driven the truck, it was a prototype but felt very similiar to the 2022 Limited. Some interior elements were cheap shining plastic just to put something in I guess. I felt the most difference from 60-90 MPH. I couldn't really hammer from a stop due to the conditions of the drive. Keep in mind the truck is built for performance and not MPG. Allocations have been pushed back. Anything Hybrid has been pushed back 30 days. It doesn't matter what state of production they are in. Nobody will talk about the Tundra's or give real time frames. The only Hybrid Tundras I am showing allocated around here is Capstones/Pros and a few 1794s. There are NONE built in 3000 miles so far. Build dates on the few I've seen are 5/2, not including the aforementioned 30 day delay, if it affects the Tundra Hybrids.

I had offers from a dealer in Maryland and PA. Both presold pretty quickly after that, but not to me. They also couldn’t give firm time frames on anything, even with the allocations coming in.

I was originally waiting for a hybrid, but was surprised in the lack of mpg gain so went looking for a non-hybrid. Got lucky in finding a Platinum allocation exactly how I wanted that someone dropped their deposit on that same day. In freight status now. Supposed to be on truck for delivery later this week. Getting anxious!!

I’ve sometimes wished I just ordered the regular version, but I want the extra power and I think the city mileage will likely be a significant difference and I have a city commute. Still a tough call though.

I've heard from another forum that hybrid allocations should drop today or tomorrow. I have a couple salesman waiting to find out so they can let me know. Anyone else?

Hearing the same thing. My 2 dealerships are on standby. In other news I learned something interesting, one of the dealerships I placed a deposit at revised their deposit/ hold program right after I did it... so I am the only person with $$ down on a hybrid so any and all trims that come through I get first pick on. Wasn't thinking pro (platinum/ 1794 with long bed) but super tempted to grab one if it pops up in Lunar or white with red interior.

Dealer confirmed first hybrid allocations here in Canada but was a steel trap on how far back in line I am.

Maybe! I'm in Calgary. Manager where I ordered said the Limited TRD OR was a safer bet. They have a massive waitlist for TRD Pro orders.

Just a little too much for me, too much chrome too. Also was annoyed you still had to pay for the advanced package

the capstone is a total rip off at 73K+ there jsut isnt jack shit that is meaningful over the platinum.

22" wheels and ugly ass interior looks like a panda bear isnt worth way more than a platinum

Acoustic glass is the only thing I feel like is a meaningful upgrade over the platinum.

even that is questionable, TFL had the tundra at the lowest dB ever tested when they tested teh interior cabin noise, I doubt its a ton better and certainly not wroth the price.
