    Hey all,
New to the forums, did a search but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. As near as I can tell, for me to get my 2010 DC SR5 4x4 to a TRD-Off-Road package, I'd need the Bilstein 4600's and the front/transfer/fuel skid plates. Is that it? (I already have aluminum wheels, not the TRD ones, but I'm fine with them).

2nd question. My truck has 178k on it and as near as I can tell it has the original shocks. Probably time for new ones. upload_2022-4-18_11-16-57.gif My previous truck was a '96 F250 that rode like a cinder block. My current truck (2010 DC) seems to be kinda floaty. Would the 4600's be stiffer than stock, but not teeth jarring?

4600’s should be comparable to the factory shocks based on what i hear a lot of times

But maybe a bit more controlled than a set with 178k on them? :)

For a few bucks more you could go to the 5100 shocks and level your truck.

Is there much difference between the 4600 and 5100s?

As far as ride quality I couldn't tell you. But price wise it looks like $60 or something on Shock Surplus. And, being able to level the truck is a huge plus. I'm sure at that mileage, getting a set of springs wouldn't hurt either.

If it doesn’t have a sway bar, that would be my first add-on

That should obviously help with handling, but does it affect the ride smoothness or affect 4x4 off-road performance?
