Oh, I know. I'm pretty sure if it's got wheels and any kind of power you're on board to race it.

Because sometimes it's not about being the fastest; it's about having fun. :) It's not a huge stretch of the budget to bump up from an RT Challenger to the Scat Pack that is significantly faster, but the RT with a 5.7 and a stick is going to be fun every time you drive it. The Scat is only going to be fun when you drive it well.

I appreciate you sharing your track day stuff. It's cool to see and live vicariously.

I want everything, but I don't have Jay Leno money. If I can only have one, I'll take the V8 every time. If some distant relative leaves me a fortune, then I'll have a few different things to play around it.

I’m ashamed of myself; I killed ZERO deviled eggs today! Not for lack of trying, none were brought. My mom or one of the uncles usually brings them, but not this year. I did tare up some Rice Krispie treats though!

Wrapped up the 16-hr NOLS Wilderness First Aid course. Lots of things came back to me from my Eagle Scout days, and some really helpful new (to me) information. Most stoked about seeing my wife really take interest and get comfortable with the different scenarios and the ways of evaluating and determining course of action…which are often different than if you are where definitive care is an hour or less away.

of course, it has me even more heavily considering getting into SAR, and possibly going for my Wilderness First Responder cert (80-hour course).

I took the kid out for some Easter Day off-roading, meeting up with @BiggHertz and @AT x AT and a couple of Heeps. Was a fun day and got to watch the Jeep folks do some wheeling up the “waterfall” at Box Canyon

Sounds like fun, I need to look into some refresher courses of some sort, bring me up to date and be prepared for whatever the boys throw at me. This one time along the black river we were packing up to go home and had little man in his bumbo seat strapped to a camp chair, while he was eating he managed to flip the entire set up forwards and landing on his face. Momma bear immediately started screaming and freaking out because blood was everywhere and we couldn’t tell where it was coming from. I told her to calm down and I took a look……… lil turd had been eating strawberries at the time of the incident!

It was a well taught class. One instructor from Press”cut” AZ and the other from the East Bay CA area.

Oh, did the instructor make a point to enunciate that? Prescott and Tempe are ridiculous if you end up talking to the wrong people.

He did, but mostly as a joke. He acknowledged having no fucking idea why they say it that way it why is so important to some people.

There’s a street in town, that as a local I’ve pronounced it the same way for my entire life, this guy at work who isn’t native, heard it pronounced differently and looked it up or some shit, he says it like he’s from back east “hootin” but the road is pronounced just like it’s seen “houghton” (howton) but he always tries to correct us, none of us have caught on to the trend

Makes sense. In Portland, there’s Couch St (pronounced “cooch”). Not 100% sure on the origins of it in Portland, but the construction of a paper machine also has a section known as the couch that is pronounced the same way.

plenty of cities in WA with odd pronunciation

(And this barely scratches the surface)

Put it on some twisty dirt tracks and my RZR will eat that Tesla for lunch. Pavement.... not so much. 65 is as fast as I've had it, and I wouldn't wanna try to get to that speed too quick on the knobby tires.

    Oh, and good morning everybody.

Lived in Gilbert, AZ a long time ago and Tempe was just pronounced Temp-ē and Prescott was pronounced exactly as it is spelled. What is this "Cut" nonsense? Reminds me of all the people afraid to say Nevada instead of "Nevaahda" like they think it makes it high class or something.

Forgot my coffee at home this morning and didn't realize till I was about 5 miles down the road. :annoyed: Luckily I was able to find me a BRCC drink this morning. Iffy start to Monday turned out alright. :D
