Yeah, I was shitfaced and drew a dick on it. Tried to erase it the next morning when I realized I wasn’t 14 anymore. Just ended up making it worse.

Like butta. Took a couple of tries to get the new bushing aligned but once it was straight, it drove right in. OEM CV went in without persuasion.

Yeah driving the bushing in was the most nerve racking; making sure it went in straight

Was there anything left of the ice pack? Just curious how well it survived 3 days of the hottest May weather we’ve seen in years.

Yeah, really cool joint. Those were canned last Friday and that B/A has never been tasted outside of their doors.

Funny story, I got into home brewing a long time ago and started a local club that would get together once a month to share beers. Some older guy joined and started hanging around pretty religiously. Taught him everything I could and set him up with his own system. Turns out he was a multi-millionaire and was looking for a new hobby. Next thing I know he’s buying a building downtown and starting this brewery / bbq joint.

Hope you enjoy them! As I was packing it back up I realized I left a 32oz of “The Creature From the Black Legume” at @bmf4069 house that I was gonna throw in there. A 10% chocolate peanut butter stout that is just *chefs kiss*.

Maybe, if he hasn’t already cracked it, he will pack that up and send it out…?

    Good Day folks.
Well, I need to replace my bearing. I plan going with the ECGS bushing.

Question: Does the prop shaft need to be replaced? Everything on mine looks and feels normal except for the bushing. I hoping the diff end is still in good shape.

    Thanks in advance.

What year is your Tundra? Looks like a 2nd gen. This thread is specific to first gens. I'm not sure are there any differences between years.

    Yes, mines a 2d Gen, 2008.
I believe it's close to the same procedure.

You shouldn’t need a new axle shaft if that’s what your calling the propeller shaft. Just the bushing and a seal

@FrenchToasty you may want to prefix this thread title with "1st Gen ..."

You can do that by going to the the little special menu between the "Watch Thread" and "Search" box at the top of the thread page - you may need to be on pg1, I don't remember.

What a wonderful thread I didn’t know existed. I’ll have to take some time tomorrow to read through it.

How far has your ECGS tool been loaned out in the US? Just curious. :D
