Just got my platinum. It was supposed to come the 18th but my dealer called and said it came early. It was a great surprise and it looks even better in person.

 

Good looking rig I’m still waiting going on 6 months

Well after what felt like a very long month, picked up my SR5 TRD Off-road premium 4x4 today. Lovin it so far.

do these news builds still have the weather strip gap?

 

Very Nice, I do like the smoked chrome better than the satin, but I'm still de-chroming my Limited.
And since when do you need a heated steering wheel in FL???

 

Lol I'll never use the heater steering wheel but those ventilated seats are going to be clutch. I haven't seen it in any other color, but the silver looks better in person. The black accents are really nice. Wish there wasn't any chrome at all. I'm going to vinyl wrap all the chrome in black.

Mine looks great. I've only had it about 48 hours now, but it's flush and doesn't show signs of a gap or popping out. Maybe Toyota QC got on it?

 

Wescott 3/1 installed with 295/60/20 ridge Graps on 20x9 fuel siege +1 offset. I had this setup on my trailboss I traded so it made sense to just move it over to the tundra.

I put my deposit down on December 27. At the time the dealer here had a nice SR5 with TRD sport premium, advanced tech, and premium audio packages that I could test drive. A customer in California had bought it, avoiding $10,000 above MSRP in his area, and the dealer here worked out an agreement with him by which it would remain on the lot for 60 days and folks like me could test drive it! It was quite a nice truck, and the experience convinced me to get one over the Ram 1500.

I have not used the AVS yet except to see that it works, lifts or drops the truck an inch or so. Wish I had thought to use it with my uncle and aunt, it would have helped them!

 

Did you take off the TRD Sport sticker off the back?

 

Looks nice with the color matching fender flares.

any wind nose at all in the cab especially at interstate speeds? or have yo not driven it like that yet maybe

Nice truck! I see you got your Tundra from Longo. Just curious, when did you get on the list and/or how long did you have to wait? I was about to put a deposit down with them to get on the list in early December but they told me my wait would be 10-12 months for the platinum you got.

 

Took delivery on Thursday and have been loving it so far. Got my bed rack and tent mounted yesterday with the help of some friends!
