After all the complaints I've read irt the piped in exhaust note (which sounds a lot like this) why would anyone pay extra to have to listen it outside the truck?

im curious about the valve stem caps. I’ve been thinking about getting a set but I’ve been reading some horror stories about them rusting on and wrecking the tpms and stems. Are yours aluminum? I’ve read that most have brass or copper threads and they corrode onto the stock stem threads. On another note, your truck looks awesome and a shout out to TVD.

Installed the Go Rhino D6 and Autovent shade window deflector. The running boards sticks out far enough and looks like sliders.

I can't tell but is that the low profile deflector or the original?

Are you fabricating something that moves the mounting to the frame instead of the body? Basically turning it into a rock sliders.

They are supposed to be sliders/steps. The ones above look like a different model to me.

Yeah his are d6 ours are dss. The d6 is new and wasn't there when i ordered my dss. I still like the lower profile look better i think.... Actually I'm torn now.

I am considering buying the DSS vs the D6s, because I like the slimmer profile. My 8 year old and wife are having trouble getting into truck and that is without the Westcott lift that I am still waiting to deliver.

Are the DSS's enough to allow you to get a decent foothold to get into the cab?

Thanks for your feedback...Sounds like they may not be what I am looking for; although, I prefer the slim profile.

Not for clumsy or unbalanced people imo... Just right for me and my family. They've not expressed any issues but yeah i don't have my westcott lift on yet either

The D6 is wider and have an option to add another piece to even make it lower. Check out Go Rhino's site.

I should have my DSS installed next weekend. I have an 8 and 10 year old and am too hoping this works.
Will post the outcome and maybe a picture of a little foot on the step then.

I just canceled my order with REALTRUCK. Each time I checked the order status it was Pending Fulfilment. I opened a chat window and they said they were waiting for the brackets to be manufactured. Back on the hunt for running boards.

No I have 1.5” aluminum blocks to add to the existing brackets. They will work for now especially for the price considering there are no true sliders out yet. True sliders will be on the list once some options are available.

In the 6-139.7 bolt pattern it should (see wheel manufacturer site below where they have an army green ‘22 with these same wheels).

With a 0 offset you will have about 2” of poke however…not a dealbreaker by any means but you just need to decide if that look is for you.

Added some $15 f150 ditch light brackets. I hope I don’t regret cutting the plastic trim

Front of Tundra.jpg Im a bit disappointed. I just picked up my limited in lunar rock. Want to get rid of the chrome grill moustache. Went to vinyl wrap place - no color match. Went to autobody shop - says the material used for the moustache is not paintable. I live in Canada. I wonder if yo ucan order this color-matched from the US since I see many online that seem to come that way from the factory?
