    I currently use a 10% blend, how will E15 fuel work in my 21 Tundra? I really can't go for lower MPG.

    My gas cap explicitly says not to use E15. (2018) E(anything) will diminish your fuel mileage considerably.

    Maybe grades like Premium will have the “old” levels of ethanol. Because this is what my manual says about it and I’m sure there’s lots of other vehicles out there with similar requirements…

    Corn needs fertilizer before it goes to fuel. Isn't fertilizer also on the endangered list and reason for crop prices going up?

    I never did understand the ethanol thing. Takes three gallons of water to make a gallon of the stuff...and it gets worse mileage. I got a FFV and I won't run it. Being in Iowa that pretty much makes me a heretic.

    It's been a long time since I last read anything but it took something around 20 gallons of water to produce 1 gallon of ethanol to include irrigation.

    Those of us with FFV trucks already have a smaller interval of oil changes. It gets even smaller when you use e85. This feels like a push for electric cars, as most cars don't like E10 as is.

    If I understand how the process works. Allowing E15 fuels will not help fuel prices. Farmers switched to soybeans this year because so much Urea is used to produce corn. If they switch to corn to produce ethanol it will only make fuel prices worse. Urea is at record prices. It takes gas to make Urea, and Urea to produce corn, and corn to make ethanol. Also, miles per gallon dropped drastically last time I ran a truck on E85. In fact if I remember right it actually cost me more per mile.
