That’s it. I have to replace this stupid sound system.

I’ve heard it is a voltage drop from the RR that causes the resets. Doesn’t happen often enough for me to get too worried about it…

Welcome back from Guam! Born and raised there...hope it treated you well. I just replaced all the door speakers with Kicker DS Coaxials and a Tech12 single sub box with 10" JBL insert and it's a huge improvement over stock. No HU or amp upgrade. I'm not an audiophile, but my 40 yr old ears are super happy with the efficient and effective upgrades. Total was <$500.

Thanks! It was a great trip. I was there for a formal diplomatic summit, but had time to enjoy the rest of the island. Wonderful place. Wonderful people. And those freaking blue starfish...wow.

I'm not an audiophile either, but I can appreciate good sound when I hear it. And for a truck, even an expensive high-end like the 1794, I wouldn't really expect the best sound system. I actually almost bought a Volvo XC90 before settling on the Tundra back in December. The Volvo's Bower's & Wilkins system was, by far, the best audio system I'd ever seen in a vehicle. It was like listening inside a freaking concert hall with a totally immersive 360-degree orchestra. Would love that in my Tundra, but I'm not prepared to pay for it and it likely wouldn't work as well in a truck environment. But there's a HUGE gap between it and Toyota's sad excuse for a "premium" JBL sound system. No real power or volume in this system at all.

At any rate, thanks for the pointers. I'm looking into a few options right now, but need to talk with the tech12 folks and get some more ideas together, too.
