Anyone Disassemble the Center Console for USB access?

Curious if anyone has attempted to disassemble or determine cable paths for the center console? I know it has been asked: reference adding rear seat USB ports to a non-equipped trim line Tundra SR5 and the issue was the inverter...but shouldn't there be some inverter or linkage in the center console for the standard USB ports inside the console? There should be a way to "daisy chain" or tap into the USB power links inside the console...I hope!

 

I haven’t taken my center console apart yet. But will be doing it to add the USB port in back of the center console on my SR5 TRD sport.

There are no extra inverter for the USB port. There is a inverter for the 400W/120V AC plug. Just power and ground for the USB ports.

The wiring diagram for the USB ports. USB Charge socket is the USB port inside console. No.2 is for the rear port if you have it. No.2 just splices into wiring of center console USB port.

 

Appreciate the schematics! I am hoping to get the part number for the rear USB port in the center console to make it as OEM as possible when the time comes. Thanks again!
