Impromptu project because I left my rear glass down overnight. So I made the best of it and put in some kilmat and greased the rear window slides! The hardest part is getting the seats the esp box lined up as they go back in.

Would like to hear the results after driving with the Kilmat installed. This is something I have been pondering tackling at some point. Maybe a winter project when vacation trips will slow down.

I already did the doors but there is a lot of surface area back here. I did inside and out on the window slide cover.

Every time I plan out a project the "since I'm in here" plays out. Next thing I know my entire interior needs to be removed and I never start :annoyed:

Took her out to the solar fields to check out some original TRD dual exhaust sounds. I welded the tips back on after finding out that the emissions test won’t allow axle dumps. It definitely was a little quieter chopped, and it’s back to a deeper tone.

Yep, California. My guy said he couldn’t reach the pipe for the probe. It’s all good. I like the tips back on there.

I installed my front Catalytic Converter Theft-deterrent plate from Valhalla's Shieldupload_2022-4-10_19-35-14.jpg

But, that is not what I am most proud of. My truck rides at slightly lower than "from-the-dealer" stock height due to its Ranch Hand front bumper.
    upload_2022-4-10_19-36-37.jpg

I installed the plate by sliding my 63-year-old self under the truck as it sits! That's only 10 inches of clearance under that sidestep bracket.
    upload_2022-4-10_19-38-20.jpg

And yet, I was able to slide under it. Full disclosure: I had been laying off any alcoholic drinks for the previous two weeks in anticipation of this install. My beer belly, I mean six-pack, just fit under it (as I held my breath).

Hell here in TX they don't care what the pipe looks like as long as it extends past the rear axle. The older trucks don't even need that lol

Wouldn't it be nice if the Cat protection plate vendors offered decals that we could put inside on the bottoms of both our rear windows? Something like:
"WARNING: Catalytic Converters protected by (insert vendor's name here)". Maybe that would be an extra deterrent? I am in Harris County, TX so the decal would have to be in Spanish as well.

Wait a minute, are these thieves literate?

I had to extend my exhaust for Texas inspection, had turndowns but couldn’t reach the exhaust with the testing. It was a 94 f150 so not have a OBD plug was part of the reason too.

Pretty slick! Emissions here are a big pain in the ass. Especially if your vehicle is old. I got a ‘95 Chevy 3500. Smog check is super fun.

Do you already have the tracks down? If not that is the hardest part...need to make sure it is square all around...did it by myself which made it harder...with two people it would have been a lot easier!

Texas inspection is kind of an oxymoron to me. I thought they were freedom loving Americans. It’s all bullshit. Sorry but as a commiefornian we don’t have inspections. Other than smog, which is
    also bullshit.FREEDOM!

Hahah understand that. I have to plan my projects months out in advanced with the two little ones. So, if I get the time to do it, I’m all in because I don’t want to do it again.
