Looking for a little help. I will be installing Bushwacker OE flares shortly. I'm looking for Wheels I can put on that will get me about even with them. If they go past them a little bit that's fine as well. I believe the OE flares stick out about an inch. My question would + 20 be good for this? Or would I need something else. Currently I have Bilstein 5100's on top setting. I'm thinking I will be sticking with a 20x9 wheel as well Thanks for any input.

With this setup, your tires will stick out 1.10" past your fenders. That's your fenders, not your fender flares.

You'll be about even with the outer edge of your tires. On my 295's with +20's combined with BW Pocket style (+1.75") I was told I looked like I was tucked alittle bit. I ended up installing Bora 1" spacers up front and 1.25" spacers on the rears for a pushed out look.

Do you guy's think on a 20x9 wheel I could go 285/60/20 with no issues leveled with the 5100's?

When I had my 295's on without the spacers I cleared the cab mount but had to remove the mud flaps and heat massage the front liner a little bit, but nothing serious.

Here's how much I cleared the cab mounts by ...

That looks great! But your lifted higher than the OP is planning on going with 5100's so he'd have rubbing issues for sure with -24's

    And welcome to the forum!

Well every 25 mm is an inch so + 20 should be flush or a 1/4 inside the flare

Nice..... So I am thinking +20 would be perfect. The OE flares stick out a little less then the pocket style I believe. So it should work well. Thanks

One last question.... How far out would +10 get me? Do you think I would have rubbing issues with 295/60/20 and 5100's Thanks

The pics I posted back on post #9 again were pre-spacers on a 3/1 level. At that time I was running a combo of 295/60/20's +20. I had about 1/2" clearance from the cab mount, I'm gonna say +10's are going to either just rub or just clear depending on the thread pattern of the tire you use. Anything aggressive will more than likely rub. You're still going to have to remove your flaps and modify the liner.

With +20 295/60/20 will I have to remove the flaps and mess with liners as well? If so just might go 275/65/20 or 285/60/20

I know trying to pick out the right wheels and tires will drive one crazy and with everyone trying to help you, you get overloaded with information. Slow down, relax and perhaps take notes (it will help) ... Between my two post you'll see that I've been trying to tell you that with 295/60/20's +20 will clear the cab mount, but you will like I did have to remove the flaps and do some sort of modification to the liner.

Here's the different set ups I've had so far ...

Bone stock - OEM TRD wheels +60 275/65/18 - no lift, no issues
OEM TRD wheels +60 with 1.25" spacers (making me at about a +28) 275/65/18 - no lift, no issues
Fuel Nutz wheels +20 295/60/20 no spacers - leveled 3/1", cleared the cab mount by 1/2" but rubbed on flaps and liner (flaps removed and heat massaged the liner) and the tires stuck out nicely.
Added 1.75" Bushwacker pocket style flares and looked alittle tucked, so mounted 1" front spacers and 1.25" rear spacers. Making me about a -5 up front and -12 at the rear, Still using my 295/60 tires ... Will need to do the CMC and modify the liner some more. (but at least I got the tires sticking out again)

Not claiming to know how you want your set up since each person has their own personal taste. But I believe that with the Bushwacker OE style flares adding about .75" and your desire to have your tires flush or just sticking out you'd be happy with a +20 with 295/60/20 but will nave to do some minor modifications. There's a fine line between wanting your tires flush with the flares and missing any flaps and liners. Going with +20 and 285/60/20 might help but I don't have any experience with that set up. Maybe, some else does and can chime in.

I am a father so "Thank you" and no need to appologize ... Trust me, I know how hard it is trying to make that decision picking the perfect wheel and tire combo. When I bought my Fuels I thought I had it figured out. I was perfectly happy with the 295/60/20 with +20 offset but knew that I might someday purchase some flares. The flares happen before I was expecting to do so and then suddenly I felt my +20's weren't aggressive enough. Lucky for you if you do go with and stick by the OE flares you cab get away with less aggressive wheel offsets and possibly prevent the CMC. Other say just do the CMC and not have to worry about that any longer. If it's within you budget, that might not be a bad suggestion. Anyhow, good luck ... And Happy Fathers day to you too (just in case ... Lol)

Oh and if it helps ... Here's a pic of my 295/60/20's +20 offset. It might help you see if the tires stick out far enough to get you flush with the OE flares.

Being it's Father day, we need to get our wives to agree to pay for our CMC's ... Lol, not gonna happen in my household. Not sure how much it would cost ... Guess that depends on where you live and labor rates. I'm hoping around $300 or less and not more than $350-400.

Lots of great information in this thread. Thanks to all!
I am doing 5100s all around but only going mid setting on the front.

Anyone have any idea if 295/60/20 would fit on a +20 offset wheel with Bilsteins at mid?
If not I guess I would go 285/60/20.

I think I have decided on the Fuel Vapor for my wheels.

    Thanks!

I think I've decided on the 295/7018, although I may still go 35s. But I'm pretty certain I want the +1 offset and just deal with whatever trimming I have to do.

I don't know how much height the 5100's at mid setting would get you but I'm assuming less than 3" so with that being the case I'm sure you'll at least have to do the same flap removal and liner mod as us.

Wes, the +1's will stick out some. Only 6mm less than my -5 front set up. It should serve well enough to satisfy your desire ...

    My front at -5 offset

Don't currently have a pic of my rear at a -12 offset. I can try to take some for you tonight.

My current 2012 Tundra has 305/55/r20 on it. No suspension mods at all. They fit.
Here is a comparison with it and the 295/60r20 that I'm considering on the new one. It's the 0.4" increase in wheel radius that concerns me. Will the Bilstein 5100 at mid (or maybe higher) help with this?
The actual wheel width is slightly smaller.

    Thoughts?
