Thanks! Yea, they're definitely on the pricer side but I'm confident these will hold up longer than others I've seen.

Tomorrow at 1:00pm the SS Built Front Bumper gets installed. Front bumper is the high clearance with valence and extended skid plates in black. I've already removed the diode dynamics fogs and reworked the brackets and bezels to mount them in a location.

I'm thinking on 1 of the 6 bolts that secure the bumper. Pics to follow. Debating on the next mod either front fenders (Help clear the 37s) or the rear bumper. Leaning towards the fenders as the rear doesn't have much clearance issue.

Any recommendations on a body shop in the SW Portland Metro area... Sherwood, Tualatin, Wilsonville? Our CR-V is having paint flake off on the rear lift gate and Honda Corp rejected our claim. Wilsonville Honda quoted $800 through whomever they took it to, but I am sure they have a markup in there. Anyone have a shop they can recommend?

Alright NW Tundra brothers, post up the weekend plans!

I’ve got an appointment this afternoon to get my dog’s nails trimmed, then need to give him a bath. Will probably spend the rest of the evening lying down with a glass of wine to alleviate my back pain.

Headed North early tomorrow to empty my parents freezer of crab, shrimp and salmon before they return. Going to pick up some smoking pellets and maybe fondle a Yoder. Cannot buy. Cannot buy…

Sunday is race day and naps…

Nice! Fondling smokers sounds like a huge disappointment! Enough to make you hard and feel good but can’t finish the job.

I’m picking up a car I bought tomorrow. My in-law’s neighbor has a 90’s 240SX that I bought for $250. It ran when it was parked 4 years ago. Planning on getting it running and driving the piss out of it to save on gas and keep the miles off the truck and then sell it for more than what I’m into it for another nicer commuter car. I had to for $250 right!?

Sunday is race day and hanging out with the Fam. Might do Easter a week early with just our fam since we are road tripping to Boise next weekend to visit my parents.

Here is the car. More pics to come tomorrow.

Tonight is trying to mow the lawn before the rain comes. Tomorrow is Hug-A-Park tree planting with the boy (he needs community service as part of his 2nd degree black belt requirements, and I also tend to like trees). Sunday is a Costco run and then watching the Masters the rest of the day.

Today I have to finish priming the closet supports now that they are installed, sanded, caulk’ed. Probably pull some weeds by the driveway. I mowed yesterday so that’s done. I have Tomorrow off to head to Eugene for my daughters game. Sunday is work and hopefully get the kids closets done.

Oh and a workout each day.

I got my big workout in yesterday. Might go again on Sunday depending on how the legs are feeling. I have stairs up to my office at work and they have not been my friend today.

Looks like rain all weekend, here and the forecast is snow on Monday. At least my commute is short, so I don’t have to worry about the roads, lol! The grandkids want me to help em build some bat houses, so I have the pieces cut and will let them help assemble them.
Other than that, I’m probably going to be making knives or forging some knife steel.

    Umm, I'll take some crab!

Sounds like most of you guys have better plans than me.
    Back on nights starting tonight.
Can't complain though, I've been off since last Wednesday.
Been working my ass of on the dozer most of the week, also snuck away with my wife to SageCliffe Resort at Cave B winery.

Dude, I'm not mechanically inclined but I'd take a swing at that for $250. Probably worth more in parts!

    Think I just pee'd a little...

Bet it will be nice to get the dogs back. Glad to hear/see you back around the forum!

Any word on when/where the Black Rifle Coffee shop will open?

If you don't mind me asking, what airport is that? There's a strange part of me that wants to live near/on a small airport when I retire.

There's plenty to share; you just gotta come to this side of the mountains!

I grew up wrenching on cars with my dad and excited to do the same with my kids. Liked it so much I did mechanical engineering and always have a project that keeps that side of the brain challenged. Hopefully I’ll work my way up to some cooler cars eventually.

The airport is in Spokane Valley and is called Felts Field. CDA’s airport is out in Hayden where I’m at. My hope is that the market gets better one of these days and can buy some land close to where I’m at. I have a 25 mile commute to work every day and don’t want to make my commute much longer.

Here she is the SS Built front bumper! I’m so stoked how it came out. I ordered black skids but he wasn’t happy with the powder coat so he gave me raw aluminum for now. I think it still looks awesome I may keep it like that but he’s sending me black ones also. I’m very happy and they’re awesome guys.

The clearance difference is wild even compared to pops’ bumper. I’ll be mounting the fogs here in a bit once it cools off. Of course pics to come

fondling smokers without buying is almost as bad as blue balls.

Having a GN Passion Fruit Mochi fruited IPA and catching up on Tundras.
Tomorrow, I'm gonna sleep in a little (hopefully). Depending on weather, I'm either working on the shed/greenhouse some more (what my wife wants) or I'm going to go "borrow" some stock mirrors to pull my tow mirrors off to send one back for some warranty repairs and then stop at my MIL's and try to install my RAS suspension (what I want).

No idea for Sunday - that's more than 24 hours away.

It’s pretty awesome! Don’t ever plan on leaving. Great job, awesome area, family close by, the only thing that is missing is some land and a shop. Hopefully that will come some day. I’m only in my mid 30’s so I have some time to work up to that.

Check the build link in my signature.
There's no way I could make what I make here over there (including offsetting for cost of living differences). That's what took me away from there originally. And I'm now 25 years (in two months) at the same company - only two people above me that I actually answer to at this point (COO and the owner).
Truth be told, my wife grew up here and getting her out of this area will never happen. Her entire extended family is here. Unless my kids decide to move there...but the opportunities for them to do what they want to do aren't nearly the same there either, so that's not likely.

I've still got ties. There's 10 acres over there that my brother and I need to decide what the plan is. I want to hold onto it. I don't know what he wants to do...if he doesn't want it then I need to buy him out and just take it over (my dad keeps hinting). But my mom would also like to actually build on it (with her health, it's unlikely she'd ever see it finished). And then there's the 60 acres in MT that we'll also eventually end up with (where my folks live now).

Congrats about the longevity! That’s very uncommon these days. I’m 9 years and know I have found the company I want to retire at.

That’s cool about the land. You’ve always got another getaway and place to go.

I got pretty lucky with the job and if wasn’t for that I wouldn’t be here for the same reasons you listed. I’m sure I could make more elsewhere with my engineering background however bought our house in the low market which helps. I’m not sure we could make it work if I had to buy my house with what it is valued at today.

    Too many mods to come
Alright ready for the drive home. Worked out well using the existing body mount. Just had to tweak the diode dynamics mount.
