I looked at these for my F150 before I ended up finding a set of raptor running boards, and what turned me off was the mounting brackets. They seem really flimsy, at least compared to the factory F150 running boards.

I needed new boards because I had smashed my OEM boards into rocks and stuff on the trails and they were all bent up. I certainly didn't want a downgrade in durability.

@mass-hole a ton of members on here have them and love them, i’ve had them before too and thought they were good but to each their own. the thing I loved is they extend beyond the furthest body panel. that way when someone is going to smash their door into your door in the parking lot, it hits your running boards instead of your car :)

I think they look great for sure. I am sure they do well for mall crawling :boink:

I am kidding of course, but its something to think about. If you are wheeling your truck and think you might drop a board on a rock or something, make sure the board is not gunna fold, especially if it sits tight to the body. F150's have few to no options for true rock sliders, but I am sure tundras will eventually.

I was interested in the bedliner finish until I saw it was $200 extra. Does anyone that has the powdercoated black find it slippery when wet?

I went for the dominator d1's instead - just under $500 shipped. I think the RB20's look cooler, but the extra $300 aint worth it in my opinion.

My question exactly...thought I saw that the protective bed liner coating was peeling off. I have my bed lined by Toyota/from the factory... Id like it to "match" so would love to know anyones opinion whos had the just the powder coat or whatever option...

Same boat with the factory bedliner. I think Im going to buy the slim version since theyre much cheaper and look a little cleaner.

You’re not gonna get a better comparison than this. Lol. I was at the mall and pulled my truck next to a TRD Pro with RB20s on it(right). My truck is on the left with RB10s. I’m kind of thinking of switching over to the RB20s myself 334D09C7-A38E-4398-9871-D0A22EE912F7.jpgDC30E21E-A09B-441D-A2B9-8BDCE81A8675.jpg

I opted for the Go Rhino D6. Looks like sliders and also sticks out.

This question may be going in the opposite direction but “What are your thoughts of the RB 10’s?”

I actually had the RB20’s on my 2015 and currently am running predators on the 2022…

…but have always liked the sleeker/less angular look of the 10’s (imho) and since I will probably swap out the predators at some point I wanted to get you opinions on the RB10’s.

I really like the RB10. They are great for a little people getting out of the back seats because they are the same thickness throughout the board. It is so funny that you asked me about this because I was actually slightly considering switching over to the RB20s. I kind of like the sharp angles on the RB20s better. But I can tell you honestly what steered me to the RB10s was the consistency of the running board where the RB20s seem to dip in a little bit going back to the rear doors. I thought that was an odd look. I willprobably just stick with my RB tens because they have held up great with the bedliner finish for around two years. I know every time I walk to my truck I like the look of it. When I saw the one at the mall that I took a picture of with the RB20s—that offset look from front to the back just kind of stuck out to me. Let me know what you think. Hope this helps.
