Holy crap. Today is my Monday. Came in a bit early to get the weekly handoff handled a bit easier and before I know it almost 3 hours have gone buy. Everything was running around headless while on fire and spreading the flames.

It's nice that time moved by quickly, but it was nuisance work. Tickets getting assigned to us that aren't anything our company handles, or (my favorite) tickets for issues that have been resolved for 24 hours. Not a big deal on a slow day to handle those, but had several real issues that I was working on when those came in flagged as super priority 1 stuff. Had to set aside real, ongoing issues, and go diving into the stupidity of some hack who is just punting everything. Either he is new and doesn't know what he is doing, which means his company/management failed in training, or he knows exactly what he is doing and needs a swift kick in the balls. Did it all right at the end of business as well, so I'm inclined to believe the latter scenario.

I wish. Had to fix it even though nothing was broken. If we don't then we are possibly violating agreements that are big money. I just think when those agreements were drawn up we should have put in stuff to allow us to push back on BS like this. Higher ups just saw dollar signs and didn't think about it, though. Why would they? They don't have to do the scut work.

Hey, I’m a pee-on as well, I totally get the game. It sucks you have to deal with possible contractual issues. But I’m pretty sure you have thick feathers!
Im on Wednesday and ready for the week to be done! I rode my bike in today, but my butthole was puckered most of the ride because I couldn’t find my rear light, people suck at driving here, but luckily it was light out this morning. I’ll ride in tomorrow and probably Friday and hopefully enjoy my self more, I found the light in my backpack at work!

Nice! If it weren't so damn cold I'd say that I should ride to work, too. Pretty sure I'd die though. Fat and out of shape.

As for my feathers, it's all water off a duck's back, but that doesn't excuse the lazy work of another company. I don't like being the boss or having to worry about if/how other people are doing their job, but that changes when them not doing it/doing it poorly starts affecting my ability to do mine. I addressed it with humor in an email to my supervisors and asked if there were any leverage in the agreements we could use, but more than anything it was just to vent a bit. Monday madness, you know? :goingcrazy:

Well hopefully your supervisor is cool and jerks your chain with a good response. But at least it’s been noted, now dualy noted…..
I was almost going to say it sounds like you get less pee on your back, but it’s probably the freshest and most stinky like coffee. I get more, but I’d like to think of it as filtered, by time it gets to my level!

    Anyway, on to happier things.

I think I've decided that in the next year or so I'll be buying a Challenger. I've drooled over them since they were reintroduced, bought a couple more responsible vehicles in the mean time, went the single vehicle route for several years, and I still want one. Barring something major in the way of my personal economy I think I'm going to buy one to park next to the Tundra.

    Something like this.

LMAO. My direct supervisors are both very cool, and they let us hide under their umbrella so we don't get as wet. I just keep them apprised of the shenanigans of the other company and leave it at that. Just looping them in, really.

No. I do this to myself. Used to be wednesday was an open day and then i ended up planning a development meeting in the morning (that always runs long), and then have another implementation meeting in the afternoon that also runs long.

looking at making some structure changes to it all next week though)

I actually don't want the shaker. I think it looks much better with the standard hood.

Well the new shaker isn't really a shaker. No uneven cams and such to actually shake. Sure, you'll get the torque twist on throttle, but I'd rather have the hood that I prefer the looks of.

Neither have I. Back when I bought my WRX it was a toss up between the two and I didn't let myself test drive the Challenger because I knew I'd buy it if I did. Bought the more responsible race car at the time. Really wish I had snagged a Challenger because they were about ten grand cheaper then. C'est la vie.

So you'd want this one. Honestly, if I were buying right this minute this would be the one I'd go for. Used price for next to no mileage and the certified pre-owned extended warranty. It's a fair chunk below original MSRP because it is used, but close enough to new I wouldn't complain much.

I've always thought buying something like that used would be a bit scary. I imagine a kid doing donuts in intersections or finding a hump in the road to throw the thing in the air. If I had any urge to get a sports car, though, this would definitely be on the list. I'm old and have a crooked back, so I love my cushy Tundra; but man, they're sexy.

That's just it, that one has 232 miles on it after 8 months of ownership in Cali. Probably drove it up the coast and back once, and then garaged it.

I like comfort, too. That's the appeal of the Challenger. It's not the fastest or best handling modern muscle/sports car, but it's got a comparatively plush ride and good interior space. At least that's what the reviews say.

Someone cleaned up some of his posts. He’ll try to get back to fiddy

99% this is the result, and why we don’t always contact them individually. They’ll want to get to 50 and then ghost us. The good ones are the ones that PM asking if they can post such and such still on the truck, and if not they are happy to wait.

Yeah, I was converted when I saw his 5+ "best price?" posts in a the market place. Have you guys thought of having the marketplaces not go toward post counts the same way new member intro threads don't?

Yesterday turned out great actually. Some retirees came to our group lunch and I had dinner with an old buddy from high school. Always fun to catch up with old friends. The wife had set the kids straight when I was working so they were on their best behavior.

Working virtual now, so life is good.
