2021 SR-5 Cavalry Blue

    New Member (although I've been browsing the forums ever since I got this truck in late December).

    I went ahead and got the 2021 when I saw my dealer had a few in stock in December. I wanted the V8 for pulling a travel trailer, and I wanted the 6th seat that you can only get with the SR-5, not available in the 2022. Also, Cavalry Blue is not available in the new 2022, and my favorite color.

    The dealer had installed Katzkin leather seats with heaters, which are very nice, drop in bed liner, and the TRD Grill with sensor up front.

    I just love it. Drives nice, fits our family of 4 and the jump seat lets us get 6 in there when we have visitors. Only mods I've done are the LED bulb swaps for the interior, bed, and license plate, as well as the wireless CarPlay adapter.

    We saw a 2022 drive by today and my son asks, "Does that have a V8?", and when I tell him no, he saws, "That's too bad."

    Beauty, love it. Can't beat Cavalry blue!
    I also really like the bench seat/column shift.

    Which wireless carplay adapter are you using? I couldn't get my '20 SR5 carplay to work wirelessly--system said something about my Iphone7+ being too old. It does work with the USB wire.

    Curious what you are using and how it's working out.

    Thanks! It's really growing on me having the column shifter, lol.

    We recently got our Softopper and ditch lights going. Been fun to get this all set up with my son. He just said "now you need some black wheels"... he's 6. and correct.
