I settled on the 6112s for my 18 in Limited TRD Off Road. Everywhere is out of stock. So should I just go with 5100s now? I want as close to stock rod as possible if not better. I was originally going to go with the 5100s but everyone is saying that the 6112 road better. I’m tired of everything being out of stock everywhere you go.

What about 8112s? Maybe they are in stock somewhere?

Yeah we haven’t seen any 6112s show up for a hot minute. We have 5100s in stock here at Hotshot Offroad, and honestly expect 6112s to start showing up in mid-March (based on latest Bilstein ETAs). Do I think the 6112 is a worthy upgrade? If you’re doing more than just putting around in town, yeah they’re nice.

It’s my daily driver and it might see a back road once in a blue moon. 99.9% city/hwy. I want something smooth when I’m doing 80mph on a road trip. I was looking at 5100s on the middle setting in the front and no lift in the rear.

The red shocks are not Off Road. They are the ones from the Tundra Sport models. I suggested them since you said you were mostly driving on the asphalt.

I have run Fat Bob's Garage Vated adj. Coilovers on the highway all day and half the night at significant speeds with great results. Don't let the low cost fool you.

I waited two months for 6112's, got sick of waiting and went with Fox TRD Pro set up from Toyota.

Very nice! Yeah, I've got 1" shims for the front and Coachbuilder 1" shackles for the rear; I think I may end up going with that myself.
