So after successfully replacing my rack and pinion, and ps pump (one of them failed a while back not sure which one) I noticed this today.

I suspect that it came out when I turned the wheel (with the weight of the vehicle on the ground) and the rack and pinion bolts/nuts weren't torqued down all the way.

Am I good to bang that axle back by using a pry bar on the metal lip of the axle? Or do I have to disconnect everything again (caliper, rotor, take the axle out of the knuckle) to do it?

I would assume there's enough movement in the axle to allow me to get that axle dust boot cover flush with the surface.

Also, I noticed that there seems to be a difference with how the CV axles are seated in their knuckle. The left side seems to be good while the right side seems to not be in all the way?

I adjusted my WDH to get my trailer pretty level. It’s 3/4” high in front, but I also had water in the black tank, no propane, and no batteries. I suspect it’ll come out really close.

    90BFC1BF-9DE0-4880-A226-DE2AF147A9D6.jpg

Then I finally chased down a wiring issue, initially thought it was the pickup plug in, but after checking everything with a voltmeter I finally hunted down a bad ground on the trailer. When I would press the brake pedal I would lose all lights on the back. GTG now.

Actually *installed* my Optitron and Oedro running boards since we had decent weather... Right before 1-2" of snow forecast for tonight...

I guess I did the Alpharex headlights last week too. Slowly coming together...

These Morimoto lights/fogs are just amazing. Honestly, the price is well worth the looks and ease of install. Also got the wind deflectors and waiting on my Sequoia front grill stuff from Sparks.Tundra Side.jpg

Thanks sir. The light bar is a lifetime led bar amber/white combo. I don’t even think they exist anymore. Been sitting in my garage for years. As far as mounting it’s bolted to the front crashbar using basic mounts. I had to order different mounts for it though to gain a little bit of height. I just measured what height the bar needed to be and then googled that height and light bar mounts and ordered. It worked out pretty good. I like the bar but I kind of want to swap it for a longer curved one though. I also am thinking about buying a front bumper too so I may not waste my money on it.

Looks like a Natika cam? What's your experience so far? I've gone through two as a reverse cam addition and I'm thinking I'm not going to bother with a third, so I'm considering options.

A few... Definitely more than 2
Debadged my truck after 10 years but left the 5.7 badges for now. Everything popped off surprisingly easy to reveal 10 years of grime that was impossible to clean in the small spaces in the badges. Then washed the truck up after. The sr5 badges have a little bit of ghosting but it will be gone in a month so I’m not really worried about it. Also swapped on the rock warrior 17s.

Just a routine oil change. I asked about hitting all of the fittings with grease, but they said Toyota doesn't recommend that when doing an oil change. I guess it's time to get out the old grease gun.

Unfortunately, only about 2-3 months. Now that it's warmer out I'm going to yank it (for a second time) and likely replace it with a built-in handle one. But it should be covered under their warranty, and I'll re-purpose it for the front if I get a replacement...

well got my rear LED running/brake lights installed worked fine, then installed the rear LED turn signals with line resisters all went good. Now when I went to change out the bulb for the front turn signal I couldn't get the bulb out it was like the bulb was bigger than hole. So I pulled off the headlight and my lower filler panel was kind enough to break on me even though I was using my nylon pry tools. I looked in side the headlight and it was melted pretty bad so I broke off some melted bits used needle nose pliers to pull the now stuck inside bulb out and dremeled the hole round again. Fixed contacts on the plug so they where tight again installed the new bulb and had to use pliers and piece of scrap metal with a torch to heat up to melt both filer panel surface and broken nipple to stick back together and went around the broken crack line as seen in the photo. Nothing like a turn signal bulb change turning into 30 minutes of work.
