    Interesting idea.

I was also thinking about what a pain the entire airbag system is. And how it might be nice to just not have it at all.

I’m sure I did it the hard way, but the only way to remove this tank is with a grinder @FrenchToasty

Morimoto has some modular LEDs that I think are new. Two small sizes. I have some baby light bars I was going to try to fit there but no joy. These little things should do it.

2 on each side. I was thinking 3 or four, but they don’t give this stuff away.

These are the really small ones I have. It’s a weird space and with brackets I can’t fit much more.

I would love that, but I closed shop a couple hours ago. These things are dual power - I haven't even decided how to wire them yet. But they won't burn anything down. Something like 600/1000 lumens low/high. My tac flashlight does that. It is a good light, however.

So does it have a hi/low? Or a backlight? Can’t be skipping these deets!

Well if I remember correctly they make 2 versions: one that is high only but goes white/amber. I got the one that is high/low. It's not backlight. I added the amber lenses because these are basically hell yes lights for the space I wanted. They may be awesome, I just wanted something that fits a 1.5" space. They do that pretty well....
They are all 3-wire for high/low or white/amber depending on what you got.

    I'll get you the sheet...
