I’ve got one of those people at my work too. It’s actually who I bought the Tundra from. He’s had 4 since I bought the Tundra from him 1.5 years ago.

Alright couple of Blackstone questions. I’ve been shopping with the plan on getting a smoker later on. Don’t need a huge one or one with all the bells and whistles. What size did ya’ll get, where did you get it, and do any of you run them on natural gas? Any issues with the natural gas?

Traeger is the brand I would go with for a smoker

Our friends have the 28” Stone and they love it, it’s not to big, not to small. They even bring it camping with them, it’s great. Maybe look at the 3 burner if it will be stationary, and they should have a orifice kit to convert to natural If that’s what you want

It will be stationary and I’m leaning towards the 3 burner instead of 2. There isn’t much of a price difference from what I can find.

    You’ll love it.
The orifice kit can be ordered to your altitude as well(it should) and either a new natural regulator, or you flip a stem on your current regulator for natural. Should be pretty easy to convert over if you get everything from BS

Thanks for the tip about the altitude. Didn’t know they could be ordered that way.

Like I said they should be, whenever I would have to convert equipment for up north or when they ordered it, they specified altitude, much better for the equipment if it can be fine tuned like that. And it’s super easy to do, the orifices don’t have to be taped or doped, just snug them up and slide the burner back over it.

I’ll research before I pull the trigger on the conversion kit to see what my options are. I know my natural gas grill that I have now is not tuned for altitude, it’s just whatever the hardware store had to hook it up. :p
