Hey everyone. New here and mainly asking questions for my brother who owns a 2012 Tundra. Wanted to ask what could cause a clunk noise on the front of his truck when going over curbs. He works in construction so he sometimes has to go off roading a bit and that is when he hears it the most. I'm thinking it is the ball joints but don't know how to diagnose them if they are the problem. Wanted to get some ideas on what it could be.

Has it been lifted, or had any suspension work? If so, check the end links, they may be loose and make a clunk over bumps.... wont replicate while jumping on the bed, or running boards
