Since I’ve added another person and dog to the trips, I needed to move the fridge to the bed for more dog room. Because of that I had to wired up a plug for it today.
    9F78F857-9B73-4F6D-8031-BD9CC55B2082.jpg

I’ll finish wiring up the compressor tomorrow once I figure out where I want the switches. Then I’ll start plumbing to the front. Painted the fitting bracket today and waiting on more materials arriving tomorrow. Really need to figure out the windshield fluid bottle situation!

I dunno man, I’m gonna say no from my perspective.

Maybe the best looking reasonably priced 17x7.5” OEM wheel. I give you that. But not best looking 7.5.

i need to add some outlets to my bed. but im considering a second battery that i can use to run shit without worrying about killing the main battery.. just something small like a prius 12v battery to run lights when im working out of it at night

If you want an early deposit to finish it off … :)

Probably need to get divorced first.

Also, this morning’s home search email hit on a tandem 4 car garage. I inquired and pushed but it went into pending sale before I could even get my wife to click on the link. Classic times.

Hahaha definitely more reasonably priced than the one your kid is holding!!!
And I won’t argue, I’d love to have that wheel!!!
But again, that wheel didn’t come on a lot of whips, did it?

I would to if I had access to good batteries. The 34 odyssey has served me very well for almost 4 years. Runs the fridge for a long weekend without dropping too low.

[IMG]these little guys.. i've got one that still useable. not massive. but it would fit up in the frame rail by the bedside well and also make wiring shit a bit nicer to the cap.

they're AGM too.. no worry of battery terminal corrosion

I see friends with girls. Some are hard. Many actually follow directions reasonably well. By comparison they are much easier. Outside of eating bs. That part sucks.

my boys are constant whining crying fighting ignoring all rules. Getting them to school is the hardest thing I do. Brutal.

Ugh, 2 girls here. Individually they are polar opposites but great kids. Put them together though and they fight like you wouldn't believe, usually over the dumbest shit too. I'd rather see physical altercations that last 5 minutes with a busted lamp and it's over, like it was with my brother growing up. Instead I'm stuck with bickering, snarky comebacks and eye rolls for eternity. It's rough!

Good thing to being so outnumbered is my wife never says no to hunting/fishing/camping trips requests. It's important for maintaining my mental health...

Yeah, uh, ours is not even that old, she's been leaning the tomboy route four a couple years now. @Tundra2 commented about some of the pro-inclusion signage around the house while here, but we didn't get into who put it up or why (it was her). We're currently waiting for the other shoe to drop on that subject, all signs point to us possibly hearing the same as you soon. We support her either way, but also realize this could just be a phase.

    Yup, this.

Overheard someone we contracted to do electrical stuff at work mention something snide about the woven friendship bracelets I keep on my left arm, he thought I was a poostie because I wear bracelets. I don't wear a wedding ring, I think the two things left him suspecting I was batting for the wrong team. Reality is, when your 10yr old (at that time) daughter makes something for the guy that's her hero, you put that shit on and wear it. Any chance to bond you take it, because that love and respect is exactly what keeps them off the pole. I didn't bother to correct his ignorance because the guy was being a judgmental piece of shit, and it's not worth my time to attempt correcting someone else's bass-ackwards views.

Tundra left me stranded this morning. Could barely crank the ignition. Had someone check the voltage when it was turning over; only read 6V. Battery with the vehicle off is 12.05V

Called AAA and they told me a new battery would average $150-$180. Decided to leave the jump till tomorrow when the dealer is open and after I check around for battery prices. Might be able to recoup some money for the Dealer truestart battery like I did last time. Just need to find that receipt.

I bet you will have nothing but girls. I bet at least one of them will be like this one. She is the daughter if a highly rated skateboarder and happens to like drifting her pow-pow-powerwheels.

My best friend has two daughters. We really tried with the first one to turn her into a little garage monkey. It was all good until she was around 4 years old, then she turned into a girly girl and didn't want to get her hands dirty anymore. She still hung out in the garage with us but gone were the days where she tried to imitate us, grabbing car parts and removing and installing hardware for fun.

His second daughter is his new hope. Her favorite thing in the world besides the dog is their baja bug. She got a quad recently and she's been riding that around a lot.

@shifty` , when I taught yoga I had one of the other instructor trainees say to my face “Dave, I thought you were gay”. I think that beats your story, no? She was confused when I said girlfriend instead of partner.
