Thank you! I just painted it myself. I was worried a wrap wouldn't match very well. The rest of the truck is dirty but the paint seems to be a perfect match once I get everything cleaned up.

 

Took the TRD stickers off and removed the badges. A couple weeks ago I got ceramic tint slapped on (20% front 5% rear). The windshield will be done when they get more 70% in.

 

22_lunar on IG has that new DV8 off-road front bumper and I think I’m in love!!

 

Does anybody know when Toyota is going to replenish the 5.5' bed mat accessory. Researched several online dealerships, but all of them are saying huge national back orders. Also waiting on the power running boards and power step that I purchased with my 2022 Platinum trim back in early March. My dealer is telling me that Toyota doesn't even have a part number associated yet. My trim came with the TRD running boards, dealer was kind enough to leave them on so at least I have them until the power units are available. I'm guessing that earthquake in Japan and Cyber attack in March caused these issues. Thanks in advance for any input from the forum.

 

It's going to be a while. In Canada, some trucks come standard with a bed mat so causing production delays or having to "recall" the trucks to throw in the bed mat would be bad PR for them. Accessories are on really short supply ATM, and I don't see any reason for that to change at all for the next few months.

I've sent an online inquiry to both Coverking and Weathertech asking about availability on a sunshade...no response yet. If you find anything let me know. I've heard little about a company called heatshields I might look into them next.

Why did you have to send an inquiry to Weathertech? They have the sunshade listed on their website: https://www.weathertech.com/toyota/2022/tundra/sunshade/tundra-dashcam-3/no/

I'm about to order one here before too long.

The only thing they say is that it won't work if you have the OEM Integrated Dashcam for some reason.

If you are looking for the 5.5 bed mat, the part number is PT318-34221-SB. I ordered mine locally in TX and was able to pickup for free within a week. I see that sparks has it in stock and my local dealer also still has it as available. If you want to go third party, blackarmourbedmats has nice mats but a little more pricey.

Would you mind elaborating on it? I would like to de-moustache mine a bit too. Didi you just order the paint from the dealer and brush it on or something?

 

I'll actually be working on a DIY write up for trailtundra this week! I have a paint gun and went to a local paint store with the paint code and they color matched it for me. It's fairly lengthy with all the prep but it's the best way to do it. There's also some online companies that will sell matched paint in a spray can with spray can clear coat if you don't feel like buying a paint gun.

 

I like those GoRhino Dominator DSS rock sliders, web site says not available for DoubleCab only for CrewMax. But with the longer bed and the shorter cab, wouldn't the length be the same as a CrewMax with the short bed?

 

Does anyone have any info on the step that folds down off the bumper? I read earlier in this thread that it is automatic with the tailgate on limited and up. Can that be installed after? Any part numbers? Or any info would be appreciated

 

The part #s are listed in Roman's official 3rd gen OEM parts thread in the vendor section. It's two pieces you have to buy (the mount and the step itself) and pretty costly to be honest. I think it's like 400 bucks for both if I'm not mistaken.

 

Does anyone have the part # for the factory black lug nuts? I can find for up to 21 tundra and 22 sequoia and Tacoma but nothing for the 22 Tundra. I was thinking these were generic depending on model and year.

I think a CM with Short 5.5ft bed and a DC with 6.5ft bed have the same wheel base. Back doors (and back leg room) are shorter with DC and the 6.5ft bed is longer than a 5.5ft in front of the rear axle.
Must be more to it if GoRhino aren't offering the Rocksliders for Dual Cab yet... I will wait.

 

My local dealer's parts dept (Mississippi) was able to order mine a couple of weeks ago...it's in but I'm still waiting on the tonneau before I drive over to pick it up.

 

Has anyone that did not get fog light added them yet. Trying to find out if the harness is ready or what needs done.
