I've had this MAC 12V tester for a while, a hand-me-down. Never worked. So I ordered a fancy new bulb. Nope. It's just wires and a bulb, so, it's on. Take it apart and check everything for resistance with a meter. Bulbs work, spring needs cleaning, cable/wire is good. The damn solder that contacts a tiny plate in the do-not-unassemble plastic is bad. Break the plastic to get to the solder joint; clean, solder and tape/heatshrink the shit out of it, assemble. Daddy has a working test light, red led. Winning.

Have you replaced your cowl clips before? Only 1 or 2 cause the leak the others don't really matter.
    https://www.tundras.com/threads/definitive-2000-2006-cab-area-rain-water-leak-thread.70464/
There's some good links in here.

Edit: Is it the water from your AC not draining? Check the drain tube under the hood.

    Part number for clips
Pull the wipers off and then remove the cowl. The clips on the passenger side leak when they get old. 1 or 2 of them leak into the cab when the seals go bad. The other ones dont really matter. They are the clips that cowl screws into.
There should be info in the thread I linked.

Mine only did it when it rained hard. Have you been using your AC? Check the drain tube make sure it isn't clogged either. That wouldn't cost you anything to fix. Just gotta find something to shove in there and clear the blockage.

If defrost is on then AC will run too. (Assuming it works). If you AC does work easy check would be to run it for a bit and see if you see water dripping from the drain hose under the hood.

This. New clips and or silicone should solve. I just used silicone to seal my old existing ones.

    Speaking of resurrections ...

Looking for input. I need to bring my wife's shoes on the "new" Highlander back to life. It's currently running the super-shitty factory 'platinum clad' 20in OEM 'premium' wheels, Toyota's p/n is "75265" or 4260D0E030, which are 20x8 with a 30mm offset (not sure what the backspace is, all I've got is the offset from literature).

Anyway, these clad wheels suck balls, you curb check them once and the platinum cladding peels away revealing some kind of plasticky substrate underneath, and that's not flying, because my wife is brutal with curbs and this city requires regular parallel parking. at $649/ea for a bare rim, and $400 for decent used minus shipping, I'm looking at $2k for a new set. So I'm looking aftermarket at this point.

Bonus if we can re-use the existing tires. Anyone have suggestions? Here's a pic of the car. I can get a side shot to allow for photoshopping if interesting.

Oh and I really like the way this one Interstate Toyota did with 22" Niche Wheels looks awesome. But those low-pro tires wouldn't fly in ATL, they've get dented fast.

Budget is $1,600 or less, ideally.

An 8" wheel with +30 offset should be roughly 5.7" offset, that's deep. If its -30 then 3.2"

Not much I dislike more than shitty flakey chrome on wheels. My mom had a 98 vette and the chrome on her wheels would flake off looking like the foil on chewing gum wrappers if you've ever found yourself bored enough to scrape it off with a fingernail. Awful stuff where you need durability.

Wife's and curbs! Our Camry xse has (had...) Beautiful factory 18" wheels. Wife rashed the shit out of one first month or two we owned it. So I bought a "take off" replacement on eBay. Next summer scraped up 2 more. I said F it, you are stuck with ugly wheels now. Haha.

I had a set of continental tires several years ago that had a wheel protector lip of sorts on it. Pretty sweet concept, but haven't seen it on anything since then.
