I am looking at these as well. Are those E loads? How did you feel the ride compared to the stock tires? What about MPG?

 

Ride is great even compared to the stock tires. They are E load rated and I only have 45 miles on the truck so I’m not sure what the MPG is yet. You could go I little bigger but I traded my F350 tremor in for the tundra, I’m tired of jumping into and out of trucks. For now the truck sits just the way I want it too.

Here’s my new stock 1794, she’s got tons of gadgets and a safe too. Heated seats in the back!! Whoa lol. Mine and my wife’s first NEW vehicle. We deserve it. Lol

wanna add a little protection to the cats and maybe a few upgrades as we go.

 

Everyone who has tried to climb into the bed is really jealous of your bed step....

 

Yeah I can imagine getting back there would be especially difficult for anyone without one..

Here’s a couple more pics. She’s got plenty of leg room in the back, even though they say the crew cab is smaller this generation.

 

Beautiful truck! I personally find with white that, while actual dirt shows, it hides dust, snow, salt, and water spots etc much better than a darker colour. It is also really easy to power wash quickly back to 90% without needing to go full bore two bucket and towel dry (I still often do, just not in the winter unless I’m going to wax it).

 

Wish I bought a crew. The double is tough to get things in and out of the back. I've got no kids, just 2 dogs. I've been toying with the idea of removing the rear seats for better storage and a JL subwoofer.

 

Got it about a week ago. I absolutely love it.

You can count me on the list of people who would love having an automatic bed step but for some reason the OR package is not offered with the bed step, so it goes to the list of future mods.

 

I've got to find that OEM or after market... I'm too old to jump into the back of the truck

 

We've got the P/Ns, but they can't be ordered in South East Toyota, I've tried.

 

I’d like to get one for the other side can you share that p/n?

 

You'll need PTS30-34000-ST and PTS30-34000-BK. Thanks to member toyotundra89 for this info. He has some pics of the install too. I've only seen them on the drivers side, so you may not have a Toyota option for the passenger side.

 

I may be able to jump in, the problem will be the landing after jumping out of it

I agree. My solution has been climb in the bed and then drop the tailgate. When that's not an option, my solution is to tell my 13 y/o, "Hey, hop in there and fetch that for me."

I ain't paying Toyota's asking price for an accessory that should have come standard with the truck. Well, at least not until the kid is off to college.

 

Exactly! I’ve been in good shape and athletic all my life but I’m pushing 60 and have been cutting my own firewood since forever. In the last 5 or so years, it has gotten much harder to deal with loading it into the bed of my ‘07 Tundra and getting in/out to stack it even with the bumper to step on. Growing old ain’t for the faint of heart.

 

I picked up an army green about 3 weeks ago and I’m loving it so far. Here’s a pic when I first got it and what it looks like currently.

 

I've been getting in by stepping on the rear tire and grabbing the side of the bed. Up and over.
