Received my coolant crossover pipe from Magnuson today which was warrantied due to a small coolant seep. Glad they sent a new one prior to me returning the defective unit. Also ordered a compressor mount from SDHQ and have an appointment scheduled for next Tuesday to get the dual ARB compressor installed along with the new crossover pipe.

What would one use to check the voltage? I'm curious now to see what it is and see what the battery lists. Like I said I haven't had any issues in about a year and a half with it so far but wouldn't mind getting it to where it should be.

Edit: Hope this didn't sound too stupid, I mean something more precise than the analog dash gage.

My Tundra is my best tool. Been towing and making work easier. Had my buddy taking this pic us towing equipment to job site. The boost auto tow mirrors were the best investment beside RAS and Eibach suspension. Waiting for my Coachbilder shackles to come in which will be my next mod.

Well finally done....for now. TRD Pro Foxs installed with 1/4 coach builder shims in front and Toytec rear shackles in the rear at 1" setting. Wheels and tires installed. 17" method 701's zero offset with 285/70-17 KO's. I think it came out great.

Thanks y’all. Made it a priority and started saving up. I had it built a few years ago before lumber prices got crazy. I spend a lot of time out there in my happy place. It’s nicer than my house.

Assuming you don’t have an aftermarket head unit or other fancy gadget, you could simply check the battery voltage with a DMM while the truck is running.

These aren't high on the list of mods I'm hoping to make, but the list really isn't that long anymore. Haven't heard anyone complaining about noise with their 10's or 12's, but I'm an old codger with a wife that likes my quiet truck. I want to hear something fun when I hit the gas, though; and it sounds like these'll do it. Glad you're happy with them.

If you came from non-TRD stock mufflers, how does drone compare? Any difference in drone between 40mph and 70mph? Did you install the resonator? Do you dislike people battering you with questions?

I replaced the OEM JBL sub with one of these enclosures yesterday. I’m a recent Tundra owner so I missed out on the group buy in 2019. However, I did benefit from the 20+ pages of tips on how to do it. :) Took about 45 minutes. The harness lead length was a little tight so I did as others suggested and cut the wiring out of the stock unit and kept the connector. The seat was a bit to get back in place but it torqued back down flush with the other seat.

What a difference! At least twice the bass that was there before! I’m satisfied for now and may look to upgrade further once the factory warranty expires. For the $$, this was a worthwhile upgrade! James at tech12volts.com was awesome to deal with!

Lol not bothered by the questions at all, that’s what this place is for right?
But I’m the same in that I wanted something with a little more growl that would be fun, but not overly loud since I use this as a family hauler somewhat regularly. It absolutely fits both bills. Haven’t gotten to open it up to the highway yet, but around town the drone isn’t any more noticiable than it was with the stock setup. I was going to throw on the resonator but unfortunately there’s a piece of metal (most likely from welding) bouncing around in there, so I need to fix that first since that’ll just make things worse lol
Yep, my average has already dropped 3:rofl:

Yes, too fool the alternator into giving a little more charging voltage.

Getting a TRD dual exhaust put on today. Should I bother saving the old stock exhaust? My truck is just coming up on 15000km. I don't go very far with it.

Big day yesterday. Installed my Go Rhino RB20 slimline running boards which I really like EXCEPT I did not realize that a video I'd watched was the regular RB20 and not the slimline. Evidently the regular ones fit up tighter to the cab which I wanted as it looks so unfinished under there. I'll remedy the situation with some black undercoating spray though so not worth it to replace at this point. Directions were not the correct ones for these boards either but not an issue as it wasn't complicated. They feel pretty sturdy/secure and it sure makes getting in a much more graceful maneuver. Probably a good six inches lower than stepping right onto the floor of the cab.

I also added the black Toyota accent "sticker" to the tailgate which I really like.

Then did the "original selling dealer sticker remove" mod (heat guns rock).

Last but certainly not least, I complied with the rule that one simply must have at least one decal in the rear window that will offend the people who drive a prius or have their pronouns in their bio or name tag. Pay no mind to the handsome, although distorted, rogue visible in the reflection. Hoping to get the Tundras.com double cab decal soon too.

Someone else posted pics about the new GO Rhino side steps. Can you get a close up shot of how far between the step and the body of the truck. The reason I ask I returned the original size because I did not like how close they sat to the truck. These look pretty nice from the pics.
