That may be but, you would think that a truck used for towing wouldn't have that issue.

Haven't actually heard this complaint yet. Brakes shouldn't be a thing at 10k mi. I have around 6k on my truck with no issues yet.

we have determined it is a software glitch and will most likely need a new head unit. They are trying to hold off until a recall, or I get enough video evidence to warrant a new set up.

** another thing I forgot about. the 2018-2020 (sounds like) models had the speed limit pop up on the screen with the odometer when you would check the mpg, miles, etc. now on the 2021 no where to be found.

Only if you have nav, which I doubt your SR5 does.

My 2021 has the speed limit pop up. On the center TFT screen, you have to arrow over to the nav/compass screen and, if it's available, it will show up there.

    Too many mods to come
    Minor things

    Leather wrapped wheel/Heated
The OEM black mirror cap replacements don't fit as flush as oem chrome.
    Passenger floor mat floor holders
Gauge cluster information could be better i.e. actual temps, psi etc

The slowest intermittent setting on the Tundra is still too fast for light rain and mist, so might has well left it off the SR5 too.

    The stock throttle was terrible.

My old 2007 5.7 had a hair trigger throttle. Would be flying , barely touching the throttle.

Fixed my 2019 with a pedal commander.
Sport 3 feels like my old 2007.

Can't turn off seatbelt chime without techstream.
Can't listen to the radio for x minutes after turning the key off.
    No auto-headlights on the SR5.

It annoys me that I cannot afford TWO TUNDRA!

    Actually:
    1. I hate the bed bounce on certain roads where the spacing is just right. I figured this would be fixed on the 2021.
    2. The rear window button location is silly I always hit it with my knee. Anyone found an easy fix for this?
    3. Remote start shutoff when you open the door is just stupid.
    4. The cheap windshields they are putting in the newer trucks. They crack with dime sized hail WTF!!??
    5. Paint seems to come off easier than on my 2008.

All this said I would not drive ANYTHING else!

    Yes
You guys are too easy on Toyota.

    1. Remote start shuts off to get in truck
    2. I have a fully loaded platinum and no auto up/down on all windows
    3. JBL system
    4. Locking tailgate
    5. Gas mileage (admittedly i don’t care much about this)
    6. No bed lights
    7. No always on option for 12vdc outlets
    8. Can’t turn just fog lights on
    9. Why couldn’t they give me 3 full size cup holders instead of the mini me one
    10. Under seat storage
    11. (I may be the minority here) no auto windshield wipers on a platinum edition

These are a few off the top of my head. I’m sure I could think of more.

mind you I love my truck but it’s not without faults that’s for sure.

Not enough, apparently...yet. This damn forum...
I would list my annoyances, but so many other of you have covered them many times over. Toyota could have addressed so many of these issues over the years and haven't, to the point of I now believe they must get some kind of kick-back or royalty from ALL the companies that make aftermarket parts that should have been on the truck to start with.

Not a fan of the lack of visibility on the drivers left front area caused by a combination of the A pillar an the overly bulky side mirror. A redisign of the side mirror would fix most of the problem.

My 2016 surely doesn't. Even my base model 2008 car had this and auto up/down windows for driver and passenger.

One that doesn't bother me anymore because my kids are bigger now is the window lock button... it doesn't just lock the window controls for other passengers, it does it for the driver too. WTF? Try rolling a window back up when you have a toddler holding their button down in the backseat on the interstate.
"Yes, your ears are hurting because your window is down and we're going 70 MPH, get your finger off the button!".

Just dealt with this today. It needs to be 5-7 seconds longer on the slowest setting. Very annoying to have to turn it off and back on.

Depends how many times you use the wipers, my wife use the wiper it’ll last 2-3 weeks, I never use wipers so it last a month or 2

Rain-X makes a windshield fluid too that coats the windshield every time you hit the spray. It's the best man!

I'll have to try that again. I used it years ago in my old truck and when I did need to use the wipers (heavy snow or rain), it would 'ghost' really bad so I quit using it. Maybe they've reformulated it so that doesn't happen anymore.
