That's gonna hurt the mileage some.

If you do a version of this from the rear of the truck, don't forget to shop the Salt Life sticker that goes on the back glass.

I still have yet to see one on the road! I saw one at my local dealership in the back of the lot. That's it.
    Very strange.

I had seen one in the wild up until yesterday. I saw 5 on the road plus 4 at a dealership I drove by in a 350 mile round trip in northern GA

I had only seen one until the Monday when I saw a mesquite and a blue one. Both looked great. Then yesterday I saw a white limited. Looked great too. Hopefully more pop up in central Va.

I have 2 others at least in my little town. I drove to the Washington beach-a couple weeks ago for a clam dig and seen 5 on the beach.

Sitting at my dealership getting the 5000 mile service and saw a DC on the lot. Glad I went with a CM. The back of the front seat was almost touching the front of the rear seat on the DC.

If you drive with the seat all the way back, you're not fitting an adult back there.

If you drive with the seat all the way back, you're likely about 6'8" lol. People think the DC is so small but I have two boys (15 and 16) and they have said it's more comfortable than the old 2014 DC and they don't complain about room. Regardless, normal driving posture puts the seat in a location that is suitable to fit two boys at 5'9" and 5'11" without issue.

They're not toddlers, retard. They're capable of judging how comfortable they find a car seat.

That’s a great looking truck. Particularly like the amber light bar! I’ll have to have one of those. Would prefer 35s, but keep the height of the truck.

No, it doesn’t need an alignment. This particular truck can crab.

So, the local sales guy I've been working with called today and said they've been allowed to submit allocation requests again and submitted my "order" for a silver SR5 4x4 CM 6.5 today. #fingerscrossed

Stopped by Toytec to pick up some parts today. They have their experimental project truck out front, working on a spacer lift and coil over/ coil replacements. Sitting on 37s w/ Methods, MGM SR5 CM. Looks pretty sick. I was in a hurry so no pics, but I'll grab some next week.

I seen another off-road fabricator was having front diff and rear diff seal leaks after their lifts. Be curious to see how common that becomes. There a lot of shitty spacer lifts out there without much attention paid to the angles.

Yeah, they said they were still in early R&D on the truck, trying to figure it out. They have it sitting on LC80 coils right now while the shock manufacturers work on developing custom springs for them. The spacer lift they said was to get the truck up, and see what fit as far as tires, etc. Being Toytec, they said their end goal was custom coil-over replacements, diff drop spacers, and whatever they else was needed to make it a lift system, as opposed to just spacers to fit big tires. Those guys are pretty serious about keeping the trucks happy once they are lifted. They kinda laughed and said how they have it set up now is mostly for looks until they get it dialed. I mentioned I was looking at picking up a '24ish Longbed CM on the factory 3" lift and they said that would probably be about how long it would take them to really get the lift kits dialed in...

Toytec will get an actual front/rear lift kit going with their Eibach partner. I think there will be many options soon for lift kits that aren't spacer lifts. The TRD lift kit would be my preference.
