Mondays are good days. Certainly not as good as a comfy day off with no alarm or chores, but good.

 

I love those Excellent Vehicle parking spots. There are few enough Tundras and McLaren's around town that those spots are very often not taken; and they're right up front at most places that have them. Glad they recognize my truck as the VIP it is. I haven't seen anyone using the steam cleaners they put at those spots - - always wondered why that was a thing.

Today is my Friday. I am ready.

So, do you have to have a greater presence there to handle his duties until a replacement is lined up? That's the other thing about being the boss. You have to cover all the stuff like this or sick stuff when others can't. Part of the job, but not a fun part of it.

 

I just got back from dropping off my FIL, his lady friend, and his dog at the airport. Except I got a call from him 15 mins after leaving them. Guess he got a Karen at the ticket counter that wouldn’t let the dog on. Now we have a houseguest for the next 30 days…

 

Oh, my head is up... it's being propped up, but it is up. I'm very grateful for being where I am and feel fortunate, but I am still tired. Keeping a good perspective definitely helps.

They just happen to be the day that most of the idiots and asshats come out to play.

 

Orange cream was not as good as I hyped it up to be in my head. Will work satisfy my 3-4 energy drinks per month fix though.

 

Really? I remember when I was younger you NEVER saw animals on the plane. Now it seems they are everywhere.
Hopefully it's a well-mannered house guest.

She'll be fine. She barks some, but so do my two idiots. I haven't asked if they're still planning the same 30 day trip or if they'll come back early because of this.
