Damn it stop; LOL - I have the Barrage, it is an BM "assisted opening". It's customized, so pretty special to me. I didn't see a customize option for the CM on their site.

I do not know... I was really wanting the Turret but a lot of guys I work with rave about auto openers. Didn't have the budget for some of them but saw this Claymore offered at a local store for a reasonable price. Went in and they had the Turret too so I could hold and feel the difference. The Turret is manual open with a G10 handle, it felt nice but has a lot more weight than the Claymore. Kinda impulse bought the Claymore but have no regrets. I have only seen it offered in 2 colors. Unsure what you would want to customize.

I've never spent this much on a knife and being my first Benchmade I was slightly nervous. I now know I was a fool to be worried lol.

After having it for a few days, I love it. It's definitely large, I had gotten used to carrying smaller knives. It weighs next to nothing, the quality appears top notch. I shouldve bought my first Benchmade long ago.

If you are a first responder, military, Government, or LE, you can purchase Benchmades at a discount. If you fall into one of these categories, you can sign-up at Id.me. They will verify your profession and create an account. Then, you login once on the BM site and a discount is automatically applied. The discount is usually 15%. Give me a shout if you need more information.

Finally finished this sheath for the little guy. I leaned it forward about 30*. Decided it’s not a neck knife. Probably will keep it as an edc for a while 8A4DA52D-63A7-4DCE-8FDE-B8021C43606B.jpg2A0EF839-8082-49D7-BB61-7B4AC8AA8DF6.jpg43F10627-8B06-49D5-B380-3FACE758F477.jpgDCCD9112-32AF-443A-B3F2-15D1A061A859.jpg

Here’s a picture of some of the knives in my “wall of shame”.
    Serves 3 purposes;
    1) reminds me of what cheap imports can be
    2) reminds me of what trends people are spending money on
    3) gives me some design ideas, occasionally

I can see it now; some burglar picks a lock or pries a door and steps in. He listens close for any sounds of alarm, or people stirring. Hearing nothing he clicks on his flashlight, hooding the beam with his hand to stay as stealthy as possible. Starting the beam low to see that he doesn't trip and slowly sweeping it up he notices a small glint of something toward the corner. "Shiny jackpot!" he thinks to himself as he moves the beam to focus on the gleam, but his expectations and the thrill of the prospect of an easy score come to a crashing halt once his mind processes just what his eyes are seeing.

This. He sees this and the thrill of a moment before morphs into near panicked fear as he thinks "Who TF keeps this stuff hanging on a wall?! Who the hell's house is this?"

It’s very likely that the clever burglar would never leave the property. I have plenty of room for digging deep holes.

Here’s the sheath for the little Bowie. That’s supposed to look like dragon scales. I’m not sure it does, cause all the dragons I have seen were pretty scorched.

For a little edc, this one is pretty nice. Weight is nothing and it fits between the belt loop and the front pocket. Not even in the way of reaching into the pocket AB6C287E-B70D-40B5-9D5B-0AFE88D533A4.jpg

So I had 2 different online orders fall thru, seems there were some inventory issues and my orders couldn't be fulfilled. So paid a little more but got what I wanted at a local shop. Absolutely love my Benchmade Claymore but I wanted something light that could clip to my camelbak or daypack when doing short hikes or bike rides. Due to my plans, I wanted the orange handle mini bug out. Just picked it up and its everything I was hoping for.

Check the build link in my signature.
I've got a feeling soon I'm going to have a Bugout or mini bugout stashed just about everywhere that I could hide a knife.

Just have to remember to take them out of my bag when I fly...

Yeah, that's always my worry when I fly. I basically have 1 bag I keep knife free so I can use it as a carry on without worry, to ensure pants are knife free I try to grab a pair that was just washed hahaha.

I feel like I'm going to slowly upgrade some of my cheaper knifes to the bugout or mini bugout. Such a good design and so light, makes it really easy to stash.
