NRCH? Or is it on the other side, maybe not installed yet? I run mine on the right side like Kalashnikov Rifle.

I have it on the right side, like yours.
I have been tempted to get the NRCH, though.

Browning 40 Hi-Power. Outstandingly accurate handgun, if a bit too bulky for concealed carry. Not that that matters here in CA where even my legit reasons won’t get a green light for a CCW from my county sheriff. But I did carry when I lived in the south and it was doable but a bit too bulky. But the gun is awesome.

next up: I want a shotgun for home defense and maybe a rifle. But contending with a wife who is anti-guns.

Anything hard or annoying? I didn't know there were cerakote kits, I'll have to look into it.

Hardest part was choosing only 3 colors. I've painted in the past but anyone should be able to do it. Lots of great info on their website.

    Hope this is allowed.
I have no affiliation with the vendor.

It has been hard lately to find 357mag and 38sp ammo of any kind for under $1 a round.
I found this place, ordered, and received it 5 days later.
I emailed them about sig required delivery, asking if I can have it sent to a local FEDEX place to pick up.
Got a response, the next day, that yes that can be done, some shippers won't do it.
But it arrived on a Saturday which worked for me.

Not as cheap as back in the day, but better than a $1 a round.
Free shipping for orders over $125, so take that into consideration while pricing.

Go to SHOP, NEW DEALS to see what they have.
Several states they won't ship to.

Everyone should use ammoseek.com or similar to find ammo or at least compare prices. The only ammo I've bought for years was online, and is usually 2-3x cheaper than any brick and mortar local place. Just reiterating it on here, since lots of people I talk to pay out the ass for ammo because that's what a local place or certain website offers, but there's multiple places like ammoseek that compare the prices of thousands of companies. Food for thought and I recommend to everyone.

Thanks for the heads up, I only have 4 or 5 boxes of 357 mag target ammo that I have been able to find over the past 18 months now. I am not paying gun show prices of almost $2 a round and the LGS that has some has the price at $120 a box of 50. I Have around 20 boxes of 38spl from getting lucky at bass pro and cabelas, plus I have all the components to reload a couple 1000 more.

My wife and I went out in the woods today. Spent 4 hours picking things up. Filled my entire truck bed with trash. Barely made a dent at this one site. There are literally two cars dumped over opposing sides of this viewpoint, along with propane tanks, an old stove, and countless other shit. And thousands of shotgun hulls. Millions of nails from bonfires burning pallets at the end of the road. Clay pigeon boxes in the bushes, in the trees, everywhere.

I never even pulled my stuff out to shoot - I was too disgusted by the time we were done picking up. And gun owners can’t figure out why so many people “don’t get it” - sometimes I wonder who doesn’t get it.

Good on you. I have to drive nearly 2 hours to shoot a rifle any distance because everything closer has rightfully been closed own for similar conditions.

Went back up today to the same spot with a magnetic sweeper. Of course there was fresh trash…but not too much. In about 1-1/2 hours we got another shop-size bag of trash (including working our way back down the road about a mile), at least a bag’s worth of big stuff (misc car parts, an old rotted plastic sled, etc), and an entire rubbermaid roughneck tote full of nails and screws. Then dropped it off at recycle/dump on the way home.

It’ll take one more trip with a garden rake and the magnetic sweeper to get what’s left of the nails and screws…then plenty of crap over the sides.

I didn’t get a picture before we finally headed home with all the other crap in the truck.

Swapped out the slide stop on the P226 I built. The original one was from an OLD parts kit, and they made some subtle design changes along the way that made it so the older stop did not fully engage the follower on newer magazines (newer slide stops have the little engagement part about 1mm longer). As a result, the three magazines I had would not lock back the slide on empty.

So, I picked up a Legion low profile one and now it’s working perfectly.

only problem is now I’m thinking of changing out the decocker to match.

    Y'all are good people..

A coworker I used to bird hunt with claimed to be a sportsman and hunted all his life.

He would get drunk and throw beer bottles at highway signs.
When I questioned him about it he said 'Someone will pick it up'.

When leaving the deer lease, he would stop his RV and empty the sewage tank in a ravine on the property.
When I questioned him he said 'something will eat it'.
Nasty RV shit and toilet paper dumped on the deer lease where sheep and cattle graze.

When we bird hunted I'd pick up my shells and he say 'oh don't worry about that, no one will notice'.

I stopped going with him shortly after that.

A year later he was arrested for firing a shot over the landowner's head for ruining his hunt one morning.
The landowner was tending to livestock early AM and the hunter was in his blind sipping whiskey.
He lined up for a shot at a big buck and saw the owner between the blind and the feeder.
    The landowner spooked the buck.
He fired a shot over the landowner's head to run him off.

Funny thing is, when the sheriff showed up at camp a few hours later, he asked if anyone knew anything about it
This dumbass proudly stood up and stated 'I did it, he ruined my hunt'.
He was quickly arrested and spent over $20k in legal fees for this incident.

I detest people who litter for any reason.
Be it a lit cigarette butt or a bag full of Mcdonald's trash.
    I can't stand it..
Where ever one is going, there will be a trash can there..
