    Hey all.

I'm new to Toyota and tried the search, but to no avail. When I first bought my Honda, I was able to pick up two green Honda mechanics manuals (it was a book - this was 2006 when those were a thing), one was a repair guide and the other was an electrical wiring guide for everything in the car. I don't think these things were supposed to walk out of the shop by whomever sold them, but alas, I was able to secure a copy via my friend, eBay.

Does something like this exist for the 22 Tundra? I reckon techs are using fancy computers that spit out algorithmic pathways to deduce the issue and then how to fix it, but there must be a PDF copy somewhere. How may one be able to obtain said PDF?

I don't know if you can get a book for Toyota newer vehicles. Pretty sure dealership has it all on TIS. I've been using Toyota/Lexus Technical Information System (TIS) through my job as a Auto Tech. Also have access to Techstream lite scan tool. TIS has the repair manual in there. You can subscribe to it for about $20 for 2 day access and try printing everything? It's a lot.

I did this with like 4 other people for the 2014 a while back. We split it into sections, printed to PDF, the combined all together to create a full FSM. It was a timely effort but worth it!

Point of reference. The 2016 Factory Service Manual that I have electronically (.pdf) is some 12,300 pages.

Is there a good PDF export of the TIS service guide floating around? Had that for my 2017 Tacoma and it was super handy

^^^ I pretty much did exactly this. Carved out a weekend to monotonously open up a section and print it to PDF then repeat. After being at it for an hour or so, I realized I was barely making a dent. There are SO many sections. I ended up getting smart and just saved all I could for the non hybrid (what I have) since a lot was duplicated for hybrid version. Still left a lot behind.

Splitting it up across members is a great idea! I'd be willing to help in order to get a full complete version at the end.

Would be nice if you could just “print all” but I didn’t find an option like that and I’m sure for good reason from Toyota.

Any auto-save to pdf programs out there? I’m sure someone has done something like this.

The Tacoma community, for obvious reasons, was so resourceful with this kind of stuff. Within a week of buying that truck, someone posted a fully indexed PDF of the entire TIS export and I kept it handy on my phone/computer, etc., and referenced it very frequently. I guess I could subscribe to TIS...when I need it. Hoping for a simpler solution though I'm definitely not the one who has the time to do the exporting and organizing

I agree. I came from that community and had a similar experience to what you had it sounds like. Got a pdf version of the entire factory service manual and was on my way for anything I needed to troubleshoot for the second gen Tacoma.

It’s why I paid for the 3 day activation and tried saving what I could for this Tundra. I would definitely be willing to go along with others to get a full complete manual. Just would need some help. It’s too daunting for one person to export it all.

$95 for a month. Should be able to get it all in a month I would think.

I would be careful about posting copyrighted material from those manuals to this forum. In fact, don't.

Thanks for the heads up. Definitely not going to post anything. Just a conversation to try and find a good service manual.
