I searched Hidden Falls and it came up with a place in Oregon, California, Utah, and then an HOA. I'm assuming you're talking about going to the HOA

Hahaha! Offroad parks are just HOAs for vehicles, change my mind.

But this result did come up in the search, it was two links below the park he linked:

Just getting the DirtCom TrailSwing completed and situated so that I can hang my full size spare off the back and free up bed space for gear. Should get that completed this weekend which will then give me the week getting the truck cleaned up for the ThndraCrew Tennessee Takeover next weekend..

Just to add to your decision-making… not only is T2S free to attendees… with event t-shirts included, lots of vendor swag, a couple of free meals, at least one free raffle ticket, et cetera, et cetera… but monies raised from sales of additional raffle tickets and merch… benefit a selected local charity each year! Plus participants are encouraged to participate together in a couple-of-hours service project to clean up an area of local forest— many hands make light work, our forestry service hosts appreciate the contribution and, like all effort with like-minded people, it ends up being one more enjoyable event. Opportunity to check out nature outside the seat of a truck… I always bring home photos of pretty flowers. :)

T2S is an awesome event. I’m not sure how many years it can maintain it’s free-for-participants admission, but it’s way cool while it lasts, especially for stock to MT trucks and newer off-road drivers. A lot of accessible trails, enough support to make sure everyone can participate safely while encouraging a little “stretch” to build confidence, and a friendly introduction on how to be a good “citizen” while off-roading.

Reading this has me a little bummed that my older kid has a big event that week at school. I think I would enjoy this one. Maybe I can get it together next year.

I see. It’s my crappy communication skills. Bought my truck back in August. Since then it’s spent all but 2 weeks at Jason’s. It’s still there. Fox rear shocks, LCA’s and thirds harvest + reinstall after I take to Zuk for gears. CV axles.

Jason has knocked out about 25 of the 30 some work items though. Replaced nearly everything I can think of replacing.

TLDR, not sure I’ll have it “ready” to play with by summer even. But it’s no rush really. The “by September” was a joke at myself for how long it’s taking. But a very good chance I bring the minivan or Tacoma since the Tundra won’t fly for 4 passengers.

So, at this point is anyone else in the best gen crew committed? Or is it just @Casper421, @FrenchToasty and I? Only a few weeks to go.

I'm out. I figured it would be at least $1,000 in gas and I would spend more time driving than hanging out.

While I’m not a “Best Gen”, I’ll be spending more since I’m even further away plus a 2+ week trip. Been saving $ for the trip and determined to enjoy life regardless of the crazy times.
