I thought I posted a link in the BS thread maybe not. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/4th-annual-red-canyon-run.755776/ We're doing Red Canyon out south of Joshua Tree, it's stupid easy but it has some good views. Depending on how long it takes and what the group wants to do, I have some other stuff in mind too.Erik and I have a PM going for it.

If we really wanted we could ditch the Tacos and race on Bradshaw trail to AZ and back.

So there is a version of this that will be awesome to me. I need a 1/2 npt M to 1/4 npt F so I can lose that Christmas tree at the gauge. But it’s cool.

Ahh, got it! I feel better. I did know about that and it didn’t tempt me. Knowing you guys are going does tempt me… but meanwhile, I think we filled in that weekend. I’ll check.

Yeah, since he's not able to make it to T2S and I want to meet/ do a run with him, sounded like a good choice.

I have no idea what's going on in this thread currently because my point of view is 5 pages behind currently...

Yall know the silver truck is what I was raised in. It's been our longest owned vehicle, and the virus was my first legitimate purchase for me that I got to keep. That being said, I couldn't really care less about the car. I enjoy it, but it's not the same. A means to an end.

The regulars know how I feel about the silver truck. It's a connection, and a tie back to what was, and what is. Now, having since bought crackie... I am truly making that one mine without any tangent tied to the past. Only looking forward. Monumental challenges accepted, some already overcome, and some in the works.

I would only part with the corolla if given a choice. I would fight to the death for either of my trucks, but crackie will unequivocally be mine through and through. The V6 will always bring back memories of what was. The good, and the bad. I have lived a full life through that truck.

Got it. So to shorten town names in AZ, you just make them 4 letters. Flag, Dona, Show, 'Slow... How's the weather in Tucs?

We need Noah out at San G don't we?

I need to figure out how to make it to T2S.

Not sure I will even have a Tundra by September. Probably in the Odyssey. Pathetic I am.

I’m not goin’ this year. Gonna be cruising some far away Pacific Island over spring break, and I can’t do both. Y’all gotta get @alb1k there, I think he just got one.

Since you brought it back up
If something were to happen and the truck was gone I would definitely look for another. I don't use my truck a whole awful lot but I like to have it around for when I do. My first gen Tacoma did just fine for me most the time (unless I needed to pull a trailer) but was just so damn slow. Tundra is the perfect size and I figure when I have kids in the next few or so years that as little as I'd be bringing them around in the truck with me that the AC will do just fine.
Don't feel like 4wd is really necessary(though i wouldn't buy one without it) as I dont use it as much as I'd like to. I'm jealous of all the guys that can just hop on a trail in their backyard. I'd offroad every day if I had access to it.

I've just about got this thing just like I'd like it and would hate to have to do it again but I probably would if I could find the right truck.

San G? Won't be making it in time for T2S this year. Definitely planning for the next. Dumb questions. Is it always the same time frame?
