For me, I want the matching look of the lights. I hate seeing a mix of halogen and LEDs on my truck. But theyre drowning out my backup cam so Im gonna look at that harness posted above.

It has nothing to do with making the plate more visible. I like the nice crisp white of the LED versus the gross yellowish halogen. The drop-in LED bulbs I tried before were somehow dimmer which is why I went with the Morimoto.

I got my LED's as a set and just installed all of them. But I also want a matched set. I'm not doing anything to make me concerned about LEO's being able to read my tag.

Installed the carlink kit for wireless carplay. Notice a slight delay with it but it’s worth it to be wireless. Also, put OEM wireless charger. Nice upgrade and easy peasy.

didn’t get a pic but turned 5k on the odometer

    Traded it in...

I couldn't justify owning a truck anymore with the way gas prices are going. I use it as a truck like 3 times a year. I just drive it because I love trucks and specifically the Tundra. I am going to miss it! I am sure as soon as it's gone I will find myself in immediate need for one haha. I traded it for a new Lexus IS300 F-Sport AWD. It will be a very fun car to drive It won't be here for months though so I am still rocking the Tundra for a while! I plan to still read these forums, it's a great community and very active which I like.

NICE. I'm playing with the idea of trading it for a M3 or M4, but I use the truck features of the truck (not out of necessity, but convenience). My fiancé and I are full WFH, so the driving expense doesn't really bother us. Is it more expensive? Yes, but it's not breaking us and it's a pretty good road trip/offroad vehicle. BUT 500hp of BMW fury sounds quite appealing. I will probably do both the M and the Tundra.

Nice! I love the M3. The IS500 would have been nice, but not saving much gas from the Tundra then haha. My wife is still in med school, maybe when she finally finishes I will pick one up...

I drive downtown everyday and park in an underground parkade. The car will definitely be easier to park down there than the Tundra!

This is a great idea. I totally should have done this. 2013 had it, 2016 not so much.

Bought it from my dad almost 2 months ago. He never drove it that much. Most of the miles where him going to his vaca house in Colorado from central TX

I’ve only put a few hundred on it so far. I work from home, gym is a mile away. I drive it often just where I need to go isn’t that far. And have Tacoma and my lady’s car for going around.

I mainly got it as I’m getting married soon. A kid will be in the plan at some point. My Tacoma has been tight going camping with kayaks, dogs, all of our crap. Couldn’t imagine doing that with a kid(s) But I love my taco, I’m keeping it for a long time.

Also, my lady agreed it was a good decision to get the tundra. It will get plenty of miles in the future, but not so much right now.

also, so far she hasn’t given me any crap for having and modding two trucks. So, I’m keeping her and them.

Got a call that my 5.29's and Grip Pro install hit a snag and won't be done until Monday. Sounds like it is 3/4 done, though.
