    I'm plastidipping mine for now, but I just noticed the part# on the back of my emblem. 90975-A2005. When you google that part# on Toyota parts it comes up as the front emblem on a 2014-2017 and 2022 Tundra. So I guess there are a overlay from Gen 2.5 that may fit if people needs just the front emblem overlay.

    Anyone have rough measurements on the front grill "T"?

    I managed to find an eBay listing for an oversized "T" emblem. It's 16cm wide (6.29") and 11cm wide (4.33") that's used on the Hilux overseas.

    Makes me wonder if it's the same size? I'll try to measure the "T" when I get home from work tonight, if no one has the size already on hand.

    You're a scholar and a gentleman.

    There's a Hilux that uses a 19cm wide (7.48") x 13cm tall (5.11") emblem as well. That might be the one. I might have to gamble $20 on eBay to see if it fits.

    That's most likely it.. measurements look right on. Would you mind sending me that link as well? Just in case I'm not happy with my plastidip.

    Update:
    Actually i just found it... or something similar with the same dimensions and I really like it. Might have to try it out.

    That's the one I was going to send, but I wasn't sure if it would work after I looked at it. It has that back material whereas the Tundra one is open. If it does work, then it might be kinda cool because I saw many different colors for the back. There's a red back with a black "T" that would look pretty cool. Especially since I added the red vinyl inserts to the "TRD" on the front grill.

    Man the emblem really just pops right off! Super easy. I got mine painted black today with some appliance epoxy. It dries into a hardened enamel so hopefully it withstands the car wash.

    I purchased it. Sadly it comes from Thailand so I don't think ill receive it anytime soon. The plastidip turned out good. Matches the grill nicely. I'll let you know if the ebay emblem fits whenever it does come in.

    I just snagged something off of FB Marketplace for the steering wheel. It's the same size as the Taco, old gen Tundra, 4Runner, Rav4, etc.

    Is the front Emblems attached with glue or does it just snap off? Also, what is everyone doing on the rear tailgate handle, if yours is chrome? Would it be easy to cover the backup camera lens or will the plastidip just come off?

    No glue. Just held on by 3 tabs. Check my post #29 in this thread to see the tabs. Just stick your finger in between emblem. Feel for the tabs and pull them towards center of emblem and it’ll disengage the tabs. Emblem will just pop off.

    I don’t have a link. Having family in the right places really helps. I also ordered the trim around the windows so I can de-chrome that as well. All coming in from Canada.

    Mine is a SR5, so trim, badging were already blacked out. I plasti-dipped the rear to black out the 2 chrome bumper pannels. I ended up wrapping the front grill myself. Upclose you can see some imperfections and overlap. But you have to really be looking. It was a pain in the @ss since I don't have any experience wrapping. Just followed youtube tutorials.. and it took a couple days because there were times when i wanted to give up. Probably would just pay a professional next time. I got qoutes from $600 to over $1000 to wrap the front grill.
