I hate to admit this but drove all the way to work on a flat tire on the back this morning. Most of my driving is straight and slow corners so I didn’t notice it until the roundabout right before work. Hoping I didn’t damage the rim and the extra rubber with the 35’s helped me out.
At least I can air it up at work then head to the tire store when they open.

 

We may have another Larry then? Need to find out the cause of the flat to be sure.

Filled it up with air and drove to les Schwab. Drove normal so I think I’m good. They were due to be rotated and having them do that while I am here. One less thing to do this weekend. Will let you know on the verdict of if I’m a Larry or not.

 

Puncture from a huge ass staple that ruined the sidewall on the inside. No damage to the rim. Free tire replacement though since the only have 5k miles on them.

They are all stop light or stop sign corners. I flew around the roundabout fast enough that the traction control came on from the low tire. Luckily I was only a few miles from work at that point.

 

I should have clarified. That’s only the drive to work. I don’t have resi shocks for no reason.

They have been great so far other than my experience today. They did great in the snow this winter and do a great job of evacuating the snow out of the treads. They have the MT version here in the store but like the design of the sidewall better on the AT.

 

Ugh. Just ate a mountain of mashed potatoes for lunch with some chicken strips. I need a coma.

I didn’t believe it, but momma bear hit a 1/4” impact extension square center of a tire once.

It’s funny, I went to get new bfgs like a month later, and they left the old ass spare underneath and tried to “dispose” of that brand new tire. I looked under the rear and was like no no no,

 

I don't have pictures but, I had a 1/8" pin punch in a tire. I stopped to get the tire fixed and they pulled this out. I still have it. Ground the end square and have used it. Not the actual punch. Just what it was. Mine is a little shorter now.
