Negative, CM and DC will have different mounting points. Driver and Passenger will be different. With CM, it’s much easier to install, with the exception of the gas tank IIRC.

The DC is a pita on the driver side due to the rear driver side cab mount that’s blocking one of the bolts. You’ll need a 3/4 stubby to get in there and fully tighten it. I had only tightened the bottom frame bolt…

    Budget option.
Trailgear sells an 80 inch diy kit for a 4runner with a kickout.
Add to that 2pc x 1/4 x 52 x 6" plates. Grab a sheet of cardboard the same size and make a frame template.
Grab a 1" holesaw and drill baby drill. Swiss cheese time.
Extend the sliders by cutting the front section and inserting a pair of ~17" filler pieces of 1 3/4" DOM. Viola. Weld in some gussets and enjoy.
    All in around $550.00.
Realizing you should have sized the kickers a little shorter because your slider kickouts are a tad shorter than your tow mirrors, priceless.

    I'm not an engineer.

But when I look at the White Knuckle Rock Sliders I question the strength of the back portion. In the picture, where the white lettering starts on toward the back.

It looks like a long cantilever without any reinforcement. This also seems to me to be one of the areas that are most likely to encounter a rock.

The Cali Raised rock slider (second photo) seems to have some sort of reinforcement for the rear most section of the slider.

I have the WKOR, and there is nothing flimsy about them. I think it's the way the picture looks. But nothing wrong with going with the caliraised ones either.

Also not an engineer here, but the WKOR use square tubing for the main rail, giving it a little more material and possibly some added rigidity with the corners of the tube. I don’t think either brand is going to be easy to bend, though.

My truck was blasted through a tree and boulders at 80mph. The gal driving lived and the Recovery Team and PO’s all pointed at the WKOR rock rails and said those kept the rig from collapsing! I had them checked and resold them! Straight as an arrow!

A couple of years ago when I paid a shuttle company to move my truck down river while I was fly fishing on The Deschutes River in OR.

So this is happening… I’ve contacted WKOR and awaiting to see how they can help me with this powder coat situation. :(

I know that I can probably use a flap disc and clean the rust and spray with Rustoleum, but this sort of sucks…

My all-pros have been great not even using the extra mounting by drilling a few more holes and are still solid enough to handle the weight of the truck. Work great fora step to.

    you could sandblast
And re-coat. I don’t think any powder coat
Is gonna do well in the salt/snow corrosion climates. Nothing I’ve had does. Although , now I completely wash and spray my frame after every highway trip in the snow.
It’s a pain in the ass, but it oxidizes everything so fast if I don’t.

Those are Rocky Road sliders - do your research before buying them. One or more of their offerings are not actually sliders, using body mount points instead of frame. I’d look elsewhere. These fall into the “too good to be true” category IMHO.

Interesting… yeah I kinda figured too good to be true was the answer… but at that price it was worth asking!
