Nope. Mrs. Bandito has a broom and figures she'll just ride it out.

We have a bathroom with no window and a cast iron tub so that'd be where my daughter and cat would be. I'll be found in the next county over.

If it gets really bad, my neighbors have a tornado room but it has an open bathroom and they both have intestinal issues so I'd rather take my chances with the twister. If we absolutely know one is coming, we can haul ass to the school admin building where my wife works. It's about 8 blocks away, was built in the early 1900's and has a basement.

Just got notification that the tornado watch as been extended until 1am. Crazy weather.

I'm no expert at towing but this doesn't seem to be the most efficient way to do it...

We're ok, the worst was west of FT Worth I think.
I really didn't listen to the news today.
Fortunately going to Natchitoches and back today I missed the biggest part of it.
I drove thru it in Terrel going to Arlington.
It was just really heavy rain and lightning.

Thank you for thinking about us..
    I appreciate it.

Thanks guys. Mom got a cancer diagnosis yesterday. Very treatable and should be fine, but just another thing to deal with.

hope everyone made it through the storms safely

Dude, that sucks. I'm sorry. Glad to hear it's treatable, but still sucks.

Chin up and keep on truckin', right? Sometimes life is just about enduring the shitstorm.

Give your Mom and family our love and support, Andy!

Glad to hear she’ll be ok. Still awful to go thru, especially since the only ways it seems to treat cancer still is, cut it off or poison it. Stay tough Andy.

Sorry to hear man. I’m not a hope and prayers guy, so instead I’m rooting for her to kick its lily ass.

The shit we endure is what shapes who we are…some grow their character and others regress in the face of adversity. If she’s anything like you (which I expect she is), she’ll come out of this stronger and better than ever before.

Hugs and fist bumps brother - whichever you’re needing at the time. :fistbump:

Thanks guys. Mom had a stroke about 7 years ago and never recovered full brain function. Lots of memory loss and speech issues. It’s been difficult walking her through what needs to be done. 2 surgeries scheduled in April to remove the cancerous cells.

Honestly, between both parents, if this is what growing old is like, why do we want too?

We're clear here in Southwest Louisiana. Got some heavy rains but luckily no crazy wind or hail. Couple places within about half hour to hour from us got hail and some bad stuff.
Hope the rest of y'all are ok.

I’m planning to skid into the finish line with the body panels barely holding on and the motor completely wore out yelling “Fuck yeah! One more time!”

Sad thing, Casey, is that we can’t really make a plan that we can count on, in this regard. The only exception is to actually develop a workable exit strategy and implement it before we lose the facility or the will.
