Haha that’s funny. Isn’t the hook stupid? I liked how beefy it was but I didn’t like how it’s permanently on there.

One of my rear Icon shocks has failed. 2.0 with reservoirs. It is leaking from the cylinder to the reservoir. I think it is the way Tundra bracket is built with the fact the connection to the hose seems high. At least if your reservoirs are bolted to the frame.

Bought a pair of Bilstein 5160 for 200.00 each off Amazon. Also bought the bracket to connect the two pieces together.

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NT5T8CY?ie=UTF8

Will rebuild the ICONS when ready, though if I had the money, in future a shock like this may be better for our trucks. Of course there is a huge difference of funds.

    https://iconvehicledynamics.com/acc...ssories-07-21-tundra-rear-25-vs-pb-cdcv-pair/

Anyway if anyone has had these problems or know of a better solution let me know

I’ve been looking at that tent too. Any worries about the straps scratching the paint? And since this is taking up the bed space, are you just storing your gear in the cab?

We plan to keep everything in the cab while sitting yes, and I bought the sleeves that are supposed to protect from scratching, they just haven't arrived yet.

Finally got around to putting in the rear diff breather after having the parts for a couple weeks. Who knows if it will ever provide any actual value, but for $40 who cares? PXL_20220322_162840237.jpg

Is there a write-up on this in the Tech Articles section? Would like to do it myself. I believe ARB makes a turnkey kit but this one appears DIY.

Not sure - I just read through the rear diff-breather thread (link). Got a $15 K&N mini filter, ~8' of 3/8" oil cooler hose, the union, some hose clamps for each end, and a few zip ties. Took maybe 20 minutes to install in total.

Simple mod, if you do get the ARB, pretty much just need to remove the OEM rear diff breather, screw on the new barb fitting to the rear diff, run the hose to the highest point of your truck (some run it to the engine bay, most will just take out the driver side tail light and run the breather through there). Zip tie, and done!

It appears there's some cupping on the front passenger tire. Looking at the knobs, there's a pattern of light and dark. Might just be the pressures, but it looks like the tire is wearing unevenly.

Did some truck stuff, hauling and picked up some chairs the wife got at auction.

Got a message that my TRD Pro headlights shipped! This was from the big sale going on last week.

    Ordered the ihacker harness

And spent an hour cleaning this beast. She sure looks good when clean. Was a beautiful bright day and the 2016 is still deep and dark.

Installed my Cat Security plates today. Took me about 2 hours taking my time. Great product and hopefully gives me some peace of mind that the douche nozzles stealing these won’t touch mine.
