I've never liked putting a bread of caulking around the base but if shims were needed to keep the toilet from rocking its a good way to hide the gap.

    What makes me angry?

The low life motherfucker, cocksucker, dirt bag who stole all the bungie straps out of the bed of my Tundra when I was in Lowes this afternoon.

All bungie's were sized and hooked on just the way I needed them to be. The good ones with the stainless hooks. I return to my truck with a cart full of plants and irrigation parts and they are gone.

Thank you for asking what makes me angry. No one else seems to care.

I would ask to see Lowe's parking lot camera footage. If they require a police report, file one. Depending on the quantity and quality, that may be a significant charge.

Got a call this morning at 4:30 AM. The shift electrician could not get a burner to light for a dryer and production wanted it fixed. So, I got up, went in and got it lighting properly. Had to repair the wire to the igniter which was shorting out. After we got the burner lit I told the production guys they could start the mill. They said their boss had just told them to shut it down until Monday morning. I asked them “If you didn’t really need this to run why in the fuck was I woken up at 4 fucking thirty AM?” All I got in response was blank stares.

Had they been in a pile in the corner of the bed looking raggedy, they probably woulda got left alone. Had the same happen to me with ratchet straps, now I have em in a big ugly pile and nobody wants em.

What makes me so angry my face turns red? And we have to keep it non-political?

Then I guess it would be the disrespectful morons that get into the passing lane and drive the exact same speed as the people in the right lane. Not only is it illegal, it's just down right selfish and disrespectful. Makes me wish I was in an Abrams tank and I could just snowplow them all.

It was like this, " ok dog, you be cool and Ill be cool, but you gotta know if you keep pissing me off Im going to eat you"
I watched a vid where a guy was touring korea, he had to try dog meat (when in rome) so he got some stew and said "OH MY GOD, this is delicious!! If I didnt know what this was id eat it every day."

Good example of why I have never been a fan of the all in one replacement defrost clock. Never had a Paragon do this on a rainy Thursday night.

What do you mean by the all in one?
The plastic ones always seemed kinda iffy, I only had to deal with them for two years and then the warranty was up

People who wear wireless earbuds all damn day in the office. You can't just talk to them, because you wind up talking to yourself. You have to jump in their face and wave your arms around to get their attention. Annoying as hell, especially when one of them is your boss.

Start throwing stuff at them. I mean, when they see a dictionary or keyboard fly past their face, they will start paying attention.....

Tempting as it is to bounce a stapler off his noggin, you're probably right. I could use these little foam mini-footballs we got from a marketing event instead.

    Thats shitty.

Reminded me though, one time I went into home depot and saw my buddy's truck outside. I noticed he had two ratchet straps in the bed so I strapped his truck to a nearby tree. I wish I could have stuck around to see him trying to leave but I was in a hurry that day.

I can't work without music. So unless you want to listen to what I'm listening to, you're going to have to deal with it. But my desk faces towards the door. And it's not like earbuds are noise cancelling.

Yeah sorry everybody, this was way to Specific of a bitch. I made it on the job right after coming down from the roof in the rain. E95CED79-D33F-4A37-8E76-7F1B6C97FA0A.jpg
This is what I call all in one. It CAN go in place of every application depending on where you set the dip switches and how you wire it.
    CF1EADB8-6F49-468E-8333-D9FE9A62DAB4.jpg
This is a Paragon defrost clock. This was being used when I started service work in 1990. You have to get the correct one for the application you need, but they work and don't go into melt down when they fail.

Yeah the contacts on the paragon are brick shit houses.
When the AIO units did fail that I had to replace, it was usually the heater contacts that would bubble and melt.
I kinda miss doing that kind of service, the lunch ladies were usually really nice.
What I don’t miss is the driving, we didn’t have a tech up in the big city, where my company did most of its installs, so I’d have to drive 200+ miles each day just to get to calls and then all over the city hunting parts or other calls down.
