I don't like this angle. Makes the wheels look wider and pokier than they really are.

Yeah, going from a +60 factory OEM wheel to a +25 SCS wheel I think is about a quarter inch.

Yeah, I happened to be looking and that very night the Rays were going onsale. There's a thread in one of the Tacoma forums that SCS updates with new release dates. Here's the thread: https://www.tundras.com/threads/scs-ray10-wheels-18x9.26374/. Here's the post where SCS updates new release dates - https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/new-scs-inventory-subscription-thread.489572/. You can also follow them on Instagram and get updates, but I'm not on Instragram.

I will post pics when it’s done. Trying to fit it into my schedule to get it done. I have a installer to do it. I spoke to a few forum members that have it and they are very happy with it.

    Hi Navi,

I love your truck! I am looking for some new wheels and I really love the color and look of yours!

I have a 2008 Tundra with the bluish silver color, forget the name, I think they might look good on there.

My old tires were cupping, ended up replacing the shocks, getting the old tires balanced but ended up buying new ones. I have Falken Wilkpeak AT3W 265/70/18s. Probably doing this a bit out of order because at some point I would like to level or raise it a bit but don't really have the money right now so I guess it's fine. I'm re-learning about offset and trying to figure out what I might do, originally was thinking 3" lift and 35's.

    Anyway, nice truck :)

Thanks @bdogg76, it's been a long time coming for me as well. I waited 3 yrs to make these changes. take a look at post # 35 on this thread. that's a good reminder about how the offsets and tire sizes work together.
initially, i also wanted 35's but the more i learned about tire weight and making a larger tire fit on our trucks, the more i wanted to drop down in size. not to mention the larger/heavier the tire the more impact it might
have on the already bad mpg's and getting around in tight spaces.

My truck is a daily driver with two little kids still in car seats. i live in a city environment (parking garages, small parking lots, etc) so all of those things played a factor in my decisions in terms of the mix of parts i chose.
i got the TRD Pro fox shocks b/c they were on sale at Sparks parts and labor for install was only $500, inc alignment.

the Icon wheels are expensive as hell. i paid total of $1,850 for the wheels and $1,700 for the tires at Discount Tires. DT does not do alignments for whatever reason so you have to get aligned somewhere else.

i think it's good that you're getting the parts as you have the cash. paying cash and avoiding debt at all costs has worked well for me over the years. it's slower but in the long run, its faster.. if that makes any sense

Nice! I ended up with some basic shocks, local mechanic replaced for me, things are hard to find/prices are high so was fine with it for now.

Maybe in 6 months or so I can get some wheels lol!

I’m going in for an alignment tomorrow at Les Schwab actually, DT should do them. SMH.

Your Icons are titanium color right?

    FYI
60-25 =35mm= 1.378" of outward shift if the wheel. The oem +60 puts the tire definitively inside the wheel well. The difference between +18 & +25 would be a quarter inch~ 7mm = .275".
