I always use 1/4" hardware cloth behind grills for every truck/suv I buy.

Screen door material can be used to prevent alot of the larger stuff.

You don't need pictures of a screen behind a grill, remove the grill, cut screen pieces as needed to fit, zip tie in place, reinstall grill. 1/4" hardware cloth will stop birds if the grill holes are large too! Plus it doesn't get clogged like window screen.

Good idea. I hang aluminum window screen inside the plastic grill and tighten it up with brass or copper wire. Sure does catch a lot of grasshopper splatter.

Without having a 3rd gen apart yet I’m not sure where I’d mount it. But usually you can sandwich it between the trim pieces.

I keep putting it off. I should really get on it. My 800 dollar custom radiator is exposed under the condenser. Oof
